"Hermes! You know that I don't like the shops up here as much as the shops at my hometown!" I screeched. Hermes and I were in a shouting match, mostly because I wanted to go down to Earth to shop, but he wouldn't let me.

"You know it isn't safe. I can't come with you! You know that!"

"Yes, I do know that. That doesn't mean I can't go!"

"It should."

"How about George and Martha? Can't they come?"

Hermes sighed, "Fine, on one condition. They're not in caduceus form. I'll make you a necklace." He picked up the caduceus and pulled George and Martha off of it.

Hey! George said, sounding quite annoyed.

But dearie, this is for Amy. Remember she gives you rats? Martha (sort of) scolded him.

Fine. George replied slightly stubbornly.

Hermes then proceeded to intertwine them into a necklace of gold and emeralds around my neck. "They will keep you safe in necklace form. If someone tries to hurt you, they will bite, with the poison of the gods in their fangs."

I smiled, "Thank you so much."

I was walking through the agora when I heard a voice like the ringing of golden bells.

"Son of Poseidon, young handsome boy. No one can deny this! The hero of the day, sailing away, away, away! Off to Crete, in the labyrinth of Minos. A beast no one could withstand, un-til Theseus!" The crowd clapped, within them, my brother, who clapped the loudest. Her beauty matched her voice. Her long, straight brown, almost black, hair had a beautiful luster in the golden sunshine. Her complexion was just as pretty in the light-a golden tan, like sweet honey. I could tell that her eyes were what captivated my brother, Jack, the most, though. Her eyes were a deep brown, with golden flecks. Quite a lot about her was golden.

My brother was in the running for attractiveness, though. He had dirty blond hair and blue-green eyes, almost turquoise. I had quickly decided that the most attractive feature, at least to all the girls his age that were chasing him, was his smooth skin and the fact that he was so muscular. You could tell, even if you didn't know him that well, that he was blessed by his mother, Aphrodite.

I walked over to him, just as the girl wandered over as well. "Morning, Jack."

He turned to me in surprise. "Amy! I haven't seen you in a while!" He engulfed me in a hug. Ah, yes. My brother, the most gentle, caring, loving creature on Earth. And the murder suspect.

"Excuse me?" the other girl said. "Who is she?" I could hear jealousy in her voice. Couldn't she tell that I wasn't Jack's girlfriend? Though, considering the hug, I guess she couldn't.

"Oh, Aleksandra. So sorry. This is my sister, Amy. Amy, this is my girlfriend, Aleksandra."

"Χαίρω πολύ (Nice to meet you)" I told her. It really was nice to meet her. As I had said, Aleksandra was very pretty. I just hoped we could get along.
