6:32 A.M (School)
I sighed, as I stood at the doorway completely frozen. It was the first day of school and I wasn't looking forward to making new friends, and the only friend I knew was attending my new school was Jessica and my cousin Brendon. Everyone else was brand new and probably stuck up. However, things could be different this year... Jessica and I were MySpace famous and maybe people would recognize us, and nobody would treat us like crap.
I finally pushed open the door which was really heavy. I looked around for Jessica, who most likely was already here, but I couldn't see her. I decided to take out my phone because she was most likely spamming me with text messages telling me where she was.
I was right. E COME OVER HERE I'M BY THE CAFETERIA! I looked around and saw someone wearing a shirt with a cat on it and she had dark brown hair. It must've been Jessica, she said she would dye her hair the day before school. I ran over to her.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" I screamed, "WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME YOU DYED YOUR HAIR!?!?" "BECAUSE I DYED IT AT 1 IN THE MORNING!" she replied, "Anyway, some people here recognized me because of my MySpace!" (Her myspace was Jesscat) "Ew I hope we don't become preppy popular kids," I said in disgust. Jessica nodded, "Yeah but at least people won't ignore us." I nodded in agreement.
The bell rang and everyone was off to first period. I had Language arts with Jessica but we got put in different seats which was unfair. I had to sit behind to some girl who looked pretty preppy to me, and there was a guy next to me with kind of longish black hair and wearing all black. I had no interest in what the girl was doing because she was probably doing something basic like re-applying her lipstick for the fiftieth time, but I kept watching the black haired boy. He was drawing really detailed characters in his notebook.
"What are you looking at?" He snapped. I didn't notice that he had noticed me noticing him drawing. "Um your drawing..." I replied awkwardly, "It looks nice." The guy shrugged, "Thanks." then he continued scribbling. "UGH BECKY HOLD ON," I heard the preppy girl scream into her phone, "Do you two mind shutting up? I'm in the middle of an important conversation!" The guy ignored her while I just nodded. "Okay so should I wear baby pink to the party or hot pink?" she continued. I rolled my eyes. That was important.
"Hello class, and Theresa, give me your phone please," Mr.Turner spoke. "Okay, BYE BECKY BOO," she then shut her phone and handed it to the teacher. "Welcome class, I'm Mr.Turner and I will be your language arts teacher this year." A few people yawned, but nobody said anything except for some kid named Pete who seemed super excited for school and screamed 'HI MR.TURNER MAN BRO!' "Peter Wentz, it's Mr.Turner."
"Okeeeey!"
"So I want you guys to turn to page 666 in your textbooks and start filling this paper out with a partner or two. The maximum amount of partners you can have is three," Mr.Turner instructed as he walked around the room to pass out a piece of paper.
I looked over to Jessica to see if she wanted to be partners, but Pete had excitedly greeted her and asked to work together with some weird kid with an emo haircut. I sighed, I didn't know anybody else. I cringed as I thought of asking Theresa to be my partner but she was busy re-re-applying her lipstick to care.
"Theresa, work with that Jimmy kid next to you, and Gerard work with that girl in the gray shirt next to you," he ordered. Gerard (the black haired guy) looked frustrated as Mr.Turner interrupted him from his intense drawing.
"Hey you're eazycheezy right?" Gerard asked me as he put away his drawing. I nodded. At least he knew who I was so things wouldn't be so awkward. "My little brother is obsessed with your account," he said.
Jessica and I didn't have normal accounts like the other people on MySpace. We'd post funny pictures that people recently started calling 'memes'. A lot of people thought we were funny and eventually we became famous...on MySpace, don't judge.
"Do you have a MySpace?" I asked. Gerard shook his head, "Mikey... my brother, he got one before I did and he became obsessed. I didn't want to be obsessed with a website so I never got one," He answered. I nodded.
The bell rang and Gerard and I walked to the front of the room where Jessica was. "E! I MADE SOME NEW FRIENDS!" She exclaimed. "E?" Gerard asked. I shrugged, "it's a nickname."
Jessica introduced me to Pete who seemed eager to meet me, and the emo haired guy who I recognized from somewhere a few years back.
"His name's Ryan!"
Instantly I remembered how I knew him.
