Mr.Milk, the most amazing teacher in the world had sent Jacob away and I was pretty glad because he was making us all uncomfortable. Mikey's phone was still missing and I really wanted to help him and Gerard look for it, but I barely knew them so I didn't want to act like some almighty superhero.
Jessica kept drawing cats and Ryan making out with Brendon, and Ryan kept writing Jessica and Tyler's names in hearts on his paper. I didn't know what was going on between her and Tyler, but I couldn't wait for her to tell me. SERIOUSLY, THEY WERE LIKE ALWAYS TOGETHER IN THE HALLS AND PROBABLY SECRETLY HOLDING HANDS. WHEN WOULD THEY ADMIT THEIR UNDYING LOVE FOR EACH OTHER?
Gerard wasn't paying attention to them. I couldn't help but watch him, there was something about him when he was drawing, as if the rest of the world didn't exist to him. He focused so much on his art and it was really...um...adorable I guess.
I guess I was staring for pretty long because Ryan started snapping his fingers in my face, "E?? DID YOU HEAR ME??" I blinked a few times (not 182 times that would take too long). "What?" I glanced at Ryan. "E ARE YOU GONNA COLOR THE DRAWING OF ME???" he asked while pointing at my paper, "It looks really good and like I was wondering if you were planning on coloring it...BUT EITHER WAY, IT'S NOT AS GOOD AS MINE!" He held up the paper filled with the words Jessica + Tyler in hearts. Jessica shoved her drawings of Ryden in Ryan's face, "NOOO MINE IS OBVIOUSLY BETTER!"
Gerard looked up, completely ignoring the mess that was going on. "How does it look?" he shoved his drawing over to me. "Y-y-you're asking me?" I asked. He nodded, "Yeah, who else? Definitely not Ryan."
Ryan wasn't paying any attention because he was busy drawing more hearts.
"Well um I think it looks really good..." I answered. Gerard chuckled, "I know it looks good, I just want your opinion. How can I make it look better? I mean you're great at drawing too, I just want some mutual advice." DID GERARD WAY JUST COMPLIMENT MY DRAWING ASDFGHJKL!!!
"Um well I guess it would look really cool if you make it fade from blue to gray, I think..." I replied. Gerard smiled and gave me his pencil. "Do you mind showing me what you mean?"
"YOU WANT ME TO RUIN YOUR DRAWING? Noooo waayyy!" I screamed as I shoved it back.
Gerard pointed to his school ID name, "Yes Waaay, and you won't ruin it. And if you do, it's okay because it's just a rough sketch."
I started coloring on Gerard's drawing and tried my best making it look like what I was thinking of. "I'm done, though I don't know if I like it as much now," I said, handing it back to him. "Hmm, I actually really like it." Then he looked at my drawing of Ryan, "I've got an idea for your drawing too."
I handed my drawing to him, "Show me."
He added some watercolor to the background, adding some color...but y'know not too much annoying vibrant colors. Just a few shades of red and gray. He then handed it back to me, "Okay I'll paint Ryan's face and you paint his hair and clothes."
I nodded.
Pretty soon we were done with the drawing/painting of Ryan. While this was going on I guess we were oblivious to everything around us. (That was not a good thing in our case.)
I didn't notice that Ryan had stopped writing Jessica and Tyler's names in hearts and he was writing mine and Gerard's names until we finished. I also didn't notice that Jessica had started writing Tyler's name in her math notebook in hearts.
Gerard, however, was still oblivious to this.
"Ryan, we finished," Gerard shoved the picture in Ryan's direction. Ryan gave us his paper, "Perfect timing, I'm done too."
"Wtf is this?" Gerard snapped. Ryan giggled, "You guys were doing some weird bonding thing over a picture of me, and it was really cute actually." Gerard was obviously really embarrassed. I pretended that I didn't hear Ryan so I tried talking to Jessica about Tyler.
"So um... anything you wanna tell me?" I asked. Jessica shrugged, "Idk... I found my homework?"
I cleared my throat, "I meant about Tyler..."
Jessica blushed, "Ummm... his last name is Joseph?"
I nodded, "Yeah I know, but are you two like a thing?"
"NO WHAT THE HECK????? WHY W0ULD I FREAKING DATE SOMEONE? EVERYONE AT THIS SCHOOL IS SCARY!!!!!!!!exceeept for um Tyler and umm .... yeah bye!" Jessica got up right as the bell rang.
I grabbed her backpack as I followed her. "DONT LIE TO ME JESSICA!" I hollered.
Jessica sighed, "Fine, I'll tell you, just come to my locker with me."
We reached Jessica's locker. I couldn't wait for her to tell me what was going on, even though it was quite obvious. I just wanted to hear her admit that they liked each other.
"Ok so I like him okay?" she said, opening her locker, "But he probably doesn't like me back, so don't tell him." "ARE YOU KIDDING?!" I replied, "He loves you!"
Jessica shrugged, "Okay now tell me about you and Gerard." I felt my face go red. "Well I'm not sure. For all I know, there's nothing going on..."
"But do you like him??YOU HAVE TO TELL ME, I TOLD YOU ABOUT TYLER." Jessica demanded. I shrugged, "He's definitely waaay better than most guys... and he's really good at art...and he's really pretty....so I think?"
"AWWWWW so cute!" I turned around to see who said that. It was Jacob stegosaurus. He was holding up Mikey's phone, and it was on record.
Jacob let out his evil maniac laugh,
"Looks to me like Rainbows Ed High School has some breaking news."
