Yugi flinched when he saw Yami's unhappy look. Of course he would be unhappy; after all, the trio was in a rather compromising situation. Joey lay down on the floor, with both Heba and Yugi straddling him. Yugi gulped.

"Yami, it's not-"

"Joseph." Yami said before turning to the blonde. Said blonde flinched in fear. "Take Heba to my brother's room." He grabbed Yugi's wrist - a little roughly - and yanked the slave up. "Come, Yugi." He then started pulling Yugi.

Yugi looked back at his brother and best friend, who both had worried looks on their faces. He just hoped they weren't right to worry.

:-:-:-:

Yugi felt himself being pushed into the room and heard the door slam. He flinched at the sound. He quickly turned to explain what happened before he was pushed towards the bed. He tripped and fell back on said bed, grunting at the sudden contact.

He felt the bed move and looked up to see Yami staring down at him, a look of hurt in his eyes. Yugi flinched; he knew he was the one to cause that look in the heir's eyes.

Before he knew what was happening, Yami leaned down and kissed Yugi roughly. Yugi, surprised at Yami's sudden aggression, panicked. He attempted to push Yami off of him, but the prince simply grabbed his hands and pinned them above the slave's head with one hand.

Yugi was scared; this wasn't the Yami he knew.

Yugi then decided that if he couldn't use his arms, he'd use his legs. He bent his knee and slammed it into Yami's stomach. This caused the prince the wince in pain and roll of Yugi. Yugi took this chance to jump up and run across the room to stand against a wall.

:-:-:-:

'Shit... Why did I do that? He probably hates me now...'

Yami sat up in his bed with a groan; Yugi sure knew how to knee somebody. He looked across the room to see Yugi standing against a wall. The younger of the two had a deep blush on his face and tears threatening to fall.

"Why... Why did you do that?"

Yami could tell Yugi was scared of him now. Yami didn't blame him; he was aggressive a moment ago. But that was caused by the jealousy and possessiveness that the future pharaoh felt. He didn't mean to do it.

"I apologize." Yami said with a sigh. "I didn't... It wasn't on purpose. I allowed my jealousy to get the best of me. I didn't mean to make you hate me." Yami said. Yugi was about to speak but Yami continued before he could. "I shouldn't have gotten jealous over you and Joseph. Its was a mistake on my part."

Yami stood, seeing that Yugi didn't know what to say. He walked over and reached for the cartouche around Yugi's neck. Yugi blinked at it in shock; apparently he forgot he had Yami's cartouche. "There was another reason I gave this to you, Yugi." Yugi looked up at Yami. "To let others know you're mine and mine alone." Yami then placed his forehead to Yugi's.

"Yugi, I'm in love with you."

:-:-:-:

"Yugi, I'm in love with you."

Yugi froze in shock. He didn't actually expect the prince to admit it. Sure, Yugi saw the signs; why else would Yami be so loving towards him? Yugi just didn't expect Yami to break the law stating that slaves and nobles (especially the royal family) could not have any romantic relationships. But here Yami was, breaking said law just for Yugi.

Before Yami had a chance to misinterpret Yugi's shock as disgust, Yugi smiled. "I'm in love with you too, Yami." He cupped Yami's cheeks as shock appeared on Yami's face. "Which is why you need to understand that I have no feelings for Joey other than friendship. Please understand that you are the only one who owns my heart." After saying this, Yugi boldly kissed Yami. Yugi felt Yami tense for a second before melting into the kiss.

Once the need for air was too great, the duo separated, smiles on their faces. Yugi hugged Yami. "Besides, Priest Seto has already proposed to Joey." Yugi smirked knowing what was coming.

"SETO PROPOSED?!"

:-:-:-:

Yugi sighed as he looked up at the stars. 'Jaden... Yusei... What should I do? I don't want Yami to be disgraced should our feelings be revealed to the public.' He sighed. 'It's not the fact that we are two males that is the issue... It's not uncommon here in Egypt. However, our statuses are too far apart.' He felt a tear fall down his cheek. 'I don't want to be the reason that the people of Egypt come to feel disgusted at Yami.' He looked up at the sky once more. "Why did you leave me, Jaden? Yusei?"

"Aibou?"

Yugi yelped in surprise as he quickly turned to see Yami looking at him with concern. Yugi sighed in relief when he realized it was just Yami. "Mou Hitori No Boku... You're awake at this hour? You should be asleep."

Yami walked until he stood next to Yugi. He leaned against the railing. "I could say the same about you." He looked at Yugi. "Is something bothering you, Yugi?" He asked.

Yugi smiled a sad smile. "Just thinking about the past. About the two best friends I used to have." He looked back up to the stars. "They really were the bestest friends I could have asked for. I may have told Joey that I've never had friends... But that's cause I don't want him to know the truth." Tears pricked at Yugi's eyes. "After all, it's my fault they were executed."

"You don't have to tell me if you don't wish to, Aibou."

Yugi shook his head before looking at Yami. "I want to." He looked back at the stars. "Yusei and Jaden were a couple years older than me... I was nine and they were twelve. They were orphans, living on the street. They stole yes, but that was when they absolutely needed to. Every couple days they would steal food from the fruit merchants. It was just to keep themselves alive; they absolutely loathed the fact they had to steal.

"I had met them on a day where my parents told me to go to the town at sunrise and not to come back till sunset. I had gotten hungry, and being the idiotic nine-year-old I was, I stole an apple at the slightest hunger. It was my first time stealing, so it didn't end well.

"I was running from the guards, but was slowing down. Just as I was about to be caught, someone else grabbed me and pulled me into an alleyway. That's how I met Yusei and Jaden, and they became two of my best friends."

Yugi sighed, tears starting to fall. "But their deaths were my fault. They were caught robbing one of the more popular stores, trying to get presents for my birthday. Because of my stupid birthday, they were executed."

Yami put a hand on Yugi's back. "Aibou..."

"And that's not the worst part." Yugi continued. Yami listened intently. "Jaden and Yusei... They were lovers." Yugi wiped a tear. "And they... I was going to be a godfather, Yami." Yugi turned to Yami. "Jaden was pregnant with Yusei's baby. They were going to name me the godfather when the child was born." Yugi then fell to his knees as the need to release tears became too great. "Because of my damn birthday, their child will never be born!"

Yami just pulled Yugi to him, allowing the young slave to cry. Yugi cried to the point where he couldn't anymore, and passed out. Yami carefully picked his love up bridal style and walked into his room and over to his bed. He gently placed Yugi in the bed, pulling the sheets over. He quickly went to close the balcony door before returning and getting into bed with Yugi. He pulled Yugi to his chest and closed his eyes.

'I promise you Yugi; I won't allow you to be hurt like this again.'

:-:-:-:

A/N: Well... I didn't expect it to end so emotional. Whoops. ^^' I apologize for killing off Jaden and Yusei, but I wanted StarShipping feels and and this was the best way. Besides, I feel like Yusei and Jaden would be like big brothers to Yugi. Any who, I hope you enjoyed the chapter nonetheless. :)
