Chapter Fifteen: Reassurance

Once he had been dismissed, Yugi walked over to his friends. They all jumped him, causing the group to fall into one pile of giggling bodies. Yugi yelped when he hit the floor but burst into giggles nonetheless receiving a few looks.

"That was amazing, buddy!"

"Yugi, I loved it!"

"I loved that it came from the heart!"

"You still have the angelic voice you had when we were kids!"

Yugi giggled with a small blush as he was bombarded with compliments. He was happy that his song was loved by his friends; it meant a lot to him that they liked it. "Thanks you guys. It means a lot to hear that you liked it."

Heba smirked. "Am I right to assume it was sung for a certain prince?"

Yugi blushed. "N-No! It... It wasn't." But Yugi knew his arguing wasn't working; Heba knew him too well. Yugi smiled. "Okay, so maybe it was written for a certain prince. However, I won't admit to it if that's what you're trying to get me to do."

Heba sighed but smiled anyways. "Okay, I give." Yugi almost let out a relieved sigh. "For now."

Yugi sighed as he sat in the secret garden. The party had become too much for the semi-shy teen, and so he went to the special place he shared with Yami for an escape. He wished Yami was with him, but he understood that it would be rude to leave his own party. Yugi was just thinking selfishly.

He looked up at the sky. "Jaden... Is this how you thought of Yusei?" He asked, hoping that his friend could hear him from where he was. He smiled up at the stars. "I wish you were still here, Jaden. I need advice. I love him; I really do. But when I think of the future and how he will be forced to pick a wife..." Yugi sighed.

"I wouldn't worry about that, my love."

Yugi jumped and immediately turned around. He blushed when he saw Yami looking at him with a loving smile. He turned around and looked back up at the stars. "How long have you been there?" He asked.

Yugi felt arms around his neck and a cheek against his own. Yami smiled. "Long enough to know you're worried about me being forced to marry." Yugi looked away, his blush fading and a sad look appearing in his eyes. Yami hugged him tired. "My love, I won't marry anyone but you, I can promise you that."

Yugi looked at him, uncertainty in his eyes. "How? You're the heir and I'm a mere slave. There are laws against it, Yami. Hell, you're taking a huge risk being with me as a Prince. Because of me you risk losing the throne! Yami I don't want to be the reason you lose everyth-"

Yugi was interrupted and shut up by a surprise kiss. Yugi froze before melting into the kiss that was filled with love, comfort and reassurance. Once Yugi calmed down, Yami broke the kiss and spoke. "My love, I already have a plan in motion. There are things that need to be prepared by the time I take the throne. Once I take the throne, everything will be alright. I promise you that, okay?"

Yugi nodded before speaking. "Yami, I-" He hesitated. He knew he was scared of rejection, but he had to. He didn't want anyone else to do it but Yami. He turned and looked up at Yami with a determined look. "Yami, I want to give myself to you!" He said with determination. Yami's face turned into one of shock. Yugi was afraid that he was about to be rejected, but was surprised at the response.

"Are you sure, Yugi?"

Yugi smiled softly. "Yes. Yami, I love you with all of my heart. Yes, I am scared but I can brave it if its for you." He placed their foreheads together and cupped the older male's face. "Yami, I don't want to give my virginity to anyone but you. So please take it." He said kissing the heir. Yami kissed back before separating with a smile.

"Of course, my hikari, my love, my Yugi."

A/N: Well there's the new chapter! I apologize it took awhile but I have been busy. I also apologize that its short but that's because I will be making a lemon for the next chapter. ;) I also wanted to put a bit of angst in there for my bae (aka best friend) FusionYuki for always being there for me. She loves the feels so here, my love; take the feels. xD Anyways, I hope to have the next chapter out in a few days, but I don't know when it will be out. Hope you all stick around!
