Kath's POV
I'm gonna say it. I'm gonna say it...

I sighed
"Kasi ma, Julia has friends that will transfer to our school, and uhm, can I, be friends with them too? Kase all these years, si Khalil and Julia lang lagi kasama ko. I want to experience having new friends like any other normal teenagers out there. Pwede po mom? Please please please sige na po please please please."
"But.." I saw her eyes full of concern at fright
"Sige okay lang, hindi ako galit. Hindi talaga. Hindi ako nagtatampo. Hindi rin talaga. Haaaayyysss"
I don't question my mom for being protective even though I don't know why she don't trust others except Enrique and Andie. Kung pinapayagan niya lang akong maki socialize, sikat na ko ngayon. I know how to be friendly but it's my mom who's pushing me not to be
"Let's see" she winked

I hope she'll change her mind, though
I woke up in the morning with the greeting of the face of Enrique.
"What do you need!?" I saw my clock, it's 5:30 AM!
"Andie. She's changed. I--I already don't know what to do..."
Napataas ako ng isang kilay "You like her."
"No!" he defensively answered
"LUH! Hindi 'yon tanong!"
"Nag away kami kahapon" he sighed
"Don't tell me the whole story. I'll just secretly sleep in between you story. All you need to do is distance yourself cause she already have a boyfriend. Ako nalang mahalin mo mwahahhha"
Binatukan niya ko at tumawa na rin "T*ngina. Helpful ehno!? At hindi kita mamahalin! Umasa ka, ul*l!"
Natawa nalang ako kay Quen at dumeretso sa school after my rituals. And as usual, nakatulog nanaman ako sa classroom
"Alam mo, wag ka na umiyak. Andito lang ako promise."
"Kasi sad na sad ako ngayon. Baka kung anong mangyari kay mommy. Uwaaaaahhhh!" Di ko na talaga napiligan yung mga tears ko. Kasi naman sobrang na akong nag-woworry kay mommy.
"Hay, sige na nga. Hintayin mo ko. Diyan ka lang ha!" Sabay takbo niya ng mabilis. Ugh! Anobayan! Saan naman siya pupunta?!
"Wag mo kong iwan! Sabi mo dito ka lang eh! San ka pupunta? Uwaaaaaahhhh!"
Pero mga after 10 minutes, bumalik din siya. At...at omg!!! May dala siyang ice cream!! My favorite!
"Ikaw naman! Nawala lang ako saglit umiiyak ka agad. Ano ba gagawin ko sayo, iyaking bata? Eto, ice cream oh, favorite mo!" Sabi niya at binigay na sakin yung ice cream.
"The who!?" I woke up by myself. Oo, hindi ako pinalakpakan!
Nakita kong nagsusulat si Ms. Reyes sa board---luckily.
"Pst. Kopya ka tapos...kopyahin ko mamaya ha! Pahiram ng notebook" susuhulan ko nalang 'tong nerd na 'to. Hekhek.
Dismissal came, kinuha ko na ung notebook ng classmate ko. Patakbo akong umuwi sa bahay. Hindi ko kasabay si Quen dahil may practice sila ng basketball.
Dumeretso ako agad sa kwarto ko para magbihis nang makarinig ako ng katok galing sa dingding--ay bintana pala---ay malamang pinto
Out of curiosity kung bakit nandito si mama, tumakbo ako agad para tignan.
"Yep, mother earth? Wayahere?"
Binatukan ako ni mama at pinapasok

Nagpatuloy si mama sa sinasabi niya not minding my excitement about what she's going to say nexy "I think na, it's time na for you to make new friends. New friends aside from Andie and Enrique." OH MY GOD. PINAYAGAN NA KO NI MOMMY!!!!
"WALANG BAWIAN!"
"Yes, pero, be careful ha. Take care of yourself. You're a big girl na. Don't make me regret this decision I've made okay?" Sometimes, I hate my mom's strategy on talking. I'm like a lil girl, really
"YES OFCOURSE!"
Sa sobrang tuwa ko niyakap ko si Mommy.
"You're welcome anak basta always know your limits okay? Wag din kayo sosobra sa gala. Makakampante ako pag kasama mo si Quen at Andie okay?"
"YES YES YES YES YES"
My mom said she ate dinner first cause of hunger kaya bumaba na ko para kumain ng dinner.
On my way downstairs, my phone unexpectedly rang. Iniisip ko tuloy kung kakain pa ko o hindi na. Feeling ko tinamad na ko kaya umakyat ulit ako
It was Andie
"Yo! Yes is the answer!"
"OH REALLY!?"
"Yupp! Excited na ko to make new friends Andie! Thanks for making that possible."
"Oh my goodness. I'm so excited well tell the Q name to go up early cause they're at the school tomorrow! Hmmkay? Lav ya!"
