Chapter One — New Beginnings {ReWritten}.
I remember being so glad that High School was finally over, so glad that those five years of hell had finished & I didn't have to go back anytime soon.First was Primary School, then High School, now for College. College has absolutely got to be a hundred percent way better than High School ever was, right?
I had kept repeatedly asking my mother so many times if the letter had arrived. So many times that she was beginning to get annoyed. Oh well. I spent hours & hours writing the letter to get in(I forgot what it was called lol) so it only made sense. . .right?
"Tierney!" She suddenly called out & I immediately bolted down the stairs. "Tierney!!"
She only called me by my first name if it was something important. Most of the times, she called me by my nickname 'Tia'. Especially since I kinda hated my name.
"What, mum?" I asked raising my eyebrows when I noticed her suspiciously staring at the door & glancing downwards at something in her hands. I squinted trying to see what it was but she waved it around.
"Is that the letter?" I questioned excitedly.
"Well no, I'm just excitedly waving a letter for no reason." Immediately my eyebrows narrowed. "Ofcourse it's the letter!" She exclaimed & I instantly became excited all over again.
She handed the letter towards me & peered over my shoulder. I could hear her deep breaths repeatedly hitting against my ear which made me raise my eyebrows.
"Mum?" I asked & she looked up confused. "Can you like. . .I dunno, back up?"
She glanced at me & the letter shaking in my hands. She raised her eyebrows & I continued to watch as she ignored my comment. A sigh escaped my mouth & I decided to open the letter anyways.
"So," she spoke interrupting the silence with a pregnant pause. "What does it say?"
"I got in." I announced feeling absolutely gobsmacked. "I got in!"
♡ ♡ ♡The first chapter of "ROOMIES" is officially done. Me & my best friend, who I absolutely love (in a sisterly way) came up with this idea over one of our extremely long conversations that have tend to become a habit of ours.
But I'm glad. So, I love you ♡ you know who you are 😊😉. KrispyKatex
