♡ Chapter 21: Dinosaurs Exist! ♡

Chapter 21|"Favorite colour?"

"Mint green." I stated boredly. This was Amelia's idea of having us 'get to know each other better'. And honestly, it was kind of what do you call it?. . .boring.

"Favorite crisps flavor?"

"Cheese & Onion." My eyed briefly glanced downwards at my fingernails.

"Favorite—"

"Look these are all boring-butt questions."

"Boring but?" She stated looking at me amused. "Don't you mean boring as—"

"I know what I meant!" I exclaimed as she fought back a smile and held her hands in surrender.

"Right, if they're so boring ask me a question." She stated.

"Fine." I racked my brain for questions. Favorite cereal? "I already know that." I stated outloud. Favorite colour? "Boring question that I already know the answer to." What animal would you want to be if—"Already know that answer—wait," I paused dramatically gasping. "No, I don't."

Amelia immediately looked up from boredly watching her nails play around.

"What? What question? Ask me the question!" She exclaimed.

"What animal would you want to be if you could—"

"Unicorn!" She shouted suddenly interrupting me.

My eyes narrowed. "Has to exist."

"Unicorns exist!"

"In what universe?" I questioned. "That's like saying dinosaurs don't—"

She suddenly placed her hands over her ears. "Lalalalalalalala." I crossed my arms and patiently sat there waiting.

"Lalalalalalalala."

"Are you done yet?" I questioned when she finally looked at me.

"Lalalalala—" my eyes narrowed. "Okay, I'm done now." She awkwardly stated and I nodded.

"Good."

"Anyways, as I was saying. Dinosaurs don't exist—"

"Tia!!!" Amelia exclaimed loudly.

"What?" I asked innocently as she furrowed her eyebrows and narrowed her eyes at me.

A yelp escaped my mouth when she suddenly leaped forwards pouncing on me. I fell backwards causing me to fall off of the couch and onto the ground.

"Hey!" I exclaimed. She starting making weird sounds as the two of us began fighting on the ground. "Get off me!"

"Dinosaurs exist!" She shouted but yelped when I immediately shoved her off of me. I jolted up and went to run but stopped when she suddenly grabbed my foot and pulled me downwards, causing me to come crashing onto the ground.

"Amelia!!"

"Dinosaurs exist, you crazyhead!"

"I'm the crazyhead?!" I questioned trying to fight her off. For somebody so. . .Amelia, she was actually kind of strong.

"Yes, you are! Admit it, Dinosaurs exist!"

"No!" I exclaimed turning my head to the side. "I will never admit it because they don't!"

"Dinosaurs exist!"

"No they don't!"

"What a pleasant sight to walk into." The two of us immediately lifted our head up and saw some guy standing at the door looking amused at the two of us.

Amelia practically jumped off of me before running straight towards him. Well, stumbling towards him. I remained on the ground confused as she tugged her shirt down to cover the top of her jeans.

"Hayden!" She exclaimed before embracing the dude. I lifted myself up and leaned backwards on my elbows.

"Whom?" I questioned with furrowed eyebrows. Amelia briefly pulled away from the insanely tall guy stood beside her and faced me with a smile.

"My boyfriend."
