♡ Chapter 06 - Late ♡

Chapter 06| "WAKE UP! WAKE UP, TIA!!" I awoke to loud screeching and repeated smackings.

"What the heck?" I grumbled before forcing my heavy and tired eyes to open themselves.

"Get up, Tia!" Looking upwards, I saw Amelia practically looming over me.

"WHAT THE-" I started screeching whilst moving backwards on the couch only to land on the group with a loud 'thud' sound.

A groan escaped my mouth and she quickly rushes over towards me with concern on her face.

I immediately raised my hand causing her to halt in her footsteps. "Don't," I grumbled clutching onto my side with my free hand. "I'm fine." I said before hesitantly getting up.

Amelia bit her lip and continued to watch as I groaned and sat on the couch. "Hey, wanna hear a joke?"

"Not really," her face fell. "But I assume you're going to tell me anyway."

"You assume correctly!" She exclaimed with a smile on her lips.

"Okay." She clasped her hands together and sat opposite me cross-legged. "Mary's father has five daughters-"

"That's not a joke!" I cried. "It's a riddle!"

She narrowed her eyes. "Same difference." She waved off before continuing. "Mary's father has 5 daughters. Nana, Nene, Nini and Nono. What's the fifth-"

"Mary." I interrupted.

"You're no fun!" She exclaimed frowning. I rolled my eyes.

"Why did you wake me up?" I grumbled. "I was perfectly happy sleeping peacefully until you started smacking me awake. What's that all about?" I questioned.

"Oh, crap!" She ezclaimed shooting off of the couch. "I forgot to tell you that we're late for class."

"Amelia!" I shrieked.

"I'm sorry! I forgot to tell you!" She apologized rushing into our bedroom.

Great, second day of College and I'm already late for class. . .
