UNDESIRABLE INCIDENT

Nagising ako sa tama ng liwanag sa mukha mo. The heat of the sun stings on my face kaya napadilat ako ng wala sa oras. Pinakiramdaman ko ang sarili ko if my head hurts at kung umiikot pa yung paligid ko.

Ginala ko na naman ang mata ko. The familiar lady and man nasa may tabi ko ng bed nakasandal yung ulo and mukhang tulog. While the stranger lady and man ay nasa parang sofa bed sleeping while nakaupo.

Gumalaw ako ng konti yung dahan dahan para hindi ko sila magising. Pero dahil mejo malambot yung kama talaga nagising ko yung babae na katabi ko.

"Ok ka na ba darling? May masakit pa sa'yo? Nahihilo ka ba?" She worriedly asked me.

"I'm ok. No headache, no dizziness but I'm hungry." I said

Ginising niya yung lalaki sa tabi ko and nagising na din yung couple na nasa may sofa bed. They prepare some congee for me and fruits.

I stare at them while munching the foods. Gutom talaga ako. Wala na munang hiya hiya. Kain muna pero dahan dahan lang daw baka mabigla ako sa food intake ko.

"Iha, we really are sorry for what happened." Said by the man

"What do you mean by that? What happened ba?" I said in a frustrated manner. Puro sorry kasi wala naman explanation.

"We are the reason bakit ka napunta dito. Nagkaroon ng accident sa road, pauwi na kami nun from a business meeting and ikaw din with your workmate pauwi na din ata based dun sa kwento niya. Sa sobrang pagod siguro dahil sa intense at haba nun meeting, your tito was sleepy na by that time at siya yung nagdrive." Said by the stange lady

I looked at the man she was referring to and I saw in his eyes how sorry and he regret the situation. Also the familiar couple seems to be absorbed nun kwento na yung babae nagiging teary-eyed na. I continue listening and absorbing the situation,

"Napapakit si tito mo then hindi niya napansin na mejo nagswivel na siya at he hit you hard na tumilapon ka sa pavement. We immediately brought you dito sa emergency ng hospital and contacted your parents. Pumunta naman din sila agad. We requested the best doctors to look after you. When they said that your condition was stable, we ask your parents to accompany us sa police station to report the incident to assure them na we will be responsible to all the damages at hindi namin kayo pababayaan." Pagtuloy niya sa kwento.

"The doctor informed us na iadmit ka sa ICU muna kasi kahit stable ka na mejo critical pa din ang state mo. So they need further observation and intensive care sa'yo." Sabi nun familiar lady while sobbing.

"You hit your head hard and nagkaroon ng hemorrhage sa loob kasi walang bleeding na naobserve sa ulo mo. You also had a hematoma, mga pasa all over your body. Wala naman fractures at dislocations." the man beside me said.

"Iha I'm deeply sorry for what happened. I know it was an accident no one wanted but bcoz of my irresponsibility all this happened. And you suffered a lot." The strange man cry as he said it.

From the story I've heard mejo nahthrob yung ulo ko. Too much thinking or too much information all at once. Ang tragic nun nangyari na hindi ko ma-imagine na nangyari sa akin yun.

Napansin ko din for the longest time parang sila apat na lang lagi ko nakikita. Pero i don't know them.

"May I ask where are my parents? Do I know you guys?" I asked them in confusiom

They stared at me in shock. As in, lumaki ang mata nila lahat even the familiar lady cover her mouth with her hand in shock.

Pero seriously I don't know them at hindi ko sila matandaan. Not even their names nor my relationship with them. And one more thing.

"Who am I?" I asked them. I have the feeling na I forgot everything.

I tried to remember something or anything about me or the accident that happened. Pero wala, ang nangyari lang eh sumakit ng sobra un ulo ko. I started vomitting and felt dizzy. Nahihilo ako, masakit ulo ko tapos ayan na naman yung pag-black ng paligid.

I heard someone shouting for a doctor and the opening of the door. Too much talking, maingay, magulo, may umiiyak tapos may naramdaman akong tumusok sa arm ko. Then numb na naman ako and I don't know na ang mga sumunod na pangyayari.
