After Jim came back and got out of the hospital, he had to give a speech to the whole Star Fleet. Before the ceremony began, I saw best friend, I was going to talk to her when I actually bumped into someone. "Oh, sorry I didn't see you." I looked up and saw it was Pavel. He started to open his mouth and I groan as I walk away.
I walked behind my best friend and said "Boo!" She screamed, she then turned around and said "Don't do that, Y/N! You know I get scared easily!" I laughed and said "Sorry Alexis, but I saw my chance." She laughed and said "It's good to see you! How's the enterprise?" "It's good to see you too! It's fine I guess, I had a boyfriend but we broke up." I said. Alexis asked "Why?" I sighed and said "He cheated on me, but I don't really want to talk about him." Alexis said "Can you at least tell me his name?" I nodded and said "Pavel Chekov." I haven't seen Alexis since the academy and I finished early but I heard that she was on the U.S.S Samuel. Alexis always had feelings for Dean but he never felt the same then she moved on.
Once the ceremony began, Alexis and I went with our shipmates. I sat between McCoy and Scotty and Pavel sat next to McCoy. I was uncomfortable and Scotty said in my ear "It's okay lassie, he wouldn't bother you even if we were here." I nod and we went back listening to Jim.
After the ceremony, we were going to hang out at Jim's place and then get ready to go back on the enterprise tomorrow. We were all playing truth or dare and Jim asked me and I said truth. He said "if you could date anyone in this room, who would you date?" I rolled my eyes and I moved uncomfortable and said "If I could date anyone, I would date..... Dean."
Jim knew that it's been a month since Pavel and I broken up. But he still asked that question and he knows that I will get him back. Pavel and I were both uncomfortable then Dean said " I'll date you too but I know your aren't exactly moved on from him but I will wait for you." I smiled and nod, all I said was "Once I move on, I'll move on to you."
