It was last period which meant Jax and I had Geography, the only class I share with Mia. I wonder how she would react to me telling her everything I know about try outs. Yeah right like its that simple to pull off, she'll probably lose it and go off at me just like the other day in the theatre. I am still stunned by the fact that shes has all these amazing talents and abilities and has no intention of sharing them with people.

Jax and I walked into class just on time, although there was no sight of Mia. Her usual chair was taken by Lilly Ward and the only chair available was the one besides me on the left. Perfect. This would give me the chance to ask her about her secret "boyfriend" of hers, so I can finally call this stupid dare off.

"Jax Brooks?" "Here."

"Kane Evans?" Here."

"Lily Ward?" Here."

"Ramiyah Brown?" ...

The whole class struck with confusion. Ramiyah? I never knew Mia was her nickname. That was a beautiful name, why didn't Mia not want to be called by her full name? Suddenly the door flew open, a load of books clutched in her arms and guitar strapped to her side. Everyone glared at her.

"I prefer Mia." She said walking off to find her seat which was taken. She gave Lilly a hard stare and continued searching for a spare seat. When she realised the only seat was available was next to me, her mood suddenly changed. She swallowed making her dry mouth, moist. She inhaled in utter disgust as she gritted her teeth. She headed towards me with her head bowed down. I watched every step she took and noticed how hard she tried not to give me a single glance.

She pushed out the chair and carelessly dropped her books on the table making a loud noise that caught everyone's attention, revealing her anger. Then softly unwrapped her guitar and placed it leaning against it's case.

I turned looking stunned by all the four hundred paged books I see her reading 24/7. She notices me staring at her through the corner of her eye and rolls her eyes, which makes me laugh. Like I said she looks kinda cute when shes angry/annoyed.

"Now class by the end of next week, I expect you all to have a project ready to expose. This time I will be choosing you project partners for you." The whole class sighed, expect me. Every time he choose our project partners he always choose the person we're sitting next to. This is why Jax and I sit next to each other in every class, so we can be project partners, simple as that.

"Lily with Tom, Kate with Hayden, Conor with Trey and ..."

He stopped and looked at both Jax and I, thinking hard. Then he glanced at Mia next to me who was looking down at her books and he nodded to himself in agreement. "... Mia and Kane and Jax with Harmo-"

"What!? Jax and I both shouted as we cut him off. Mia's face cringed as her eyes widened in shock. She clenched her fist from beneath her desk with her teeth gritting just as hard as I was.

"Mr. Jones, why can't Mia be with Harmony, their both girls."

"Well, the last time you two boys done a project together, you never completed it and you went off stealing another students project. The only time you two do something good is when your on the field. Mia and Harmony are both good students, you'll learn a lot off them two."

The four of us sighed in resentment, but there was nothing we could do about it. How was it possible for me to work with Mia, when she can't even stand talking to me. I went and sat over with Mia, trying my best not to make the scene as awkward as it already was. Her face was blank and she didn't want to look me in the eye.

"Hey Ramiyah, so project buddies huh?" I said giving her half a smile, trying to cheer her up.

"Don't you dare call me that you little Candy Kane." She stammered as I choked on the word Candy Kane.

"I like Ramiyah better, it's a great name."

"And I like Candy Kane better, but your not sweet at all. Your just salty, sour and yuck! She said raising her voice on the word "yuck."

"G, thanks." I said sarcastically scratching my head.

"So where should we meet up, for the project. My house or yours?" I asked.

"None, I don't want to be your partner." She said crossing her arms fiercely.

"I'm sorry, but you have to, you have no choice whats so ever." I replied.

"If I had the chance to move schools and cities just to avoid working with you on a project then I would be on my first flight out of here." She confidently stated.

I was taken back by her comment which was both amusing and offensive at the same time. This girl sure was sassy. Wow, a sassy soccer player, how great is that?

"Okay since you didn't answer my question, then we'll study at mine." I said making the plans.

"Maybe I'll just book the first tickets out of here, away from you. Good plan?" She said with sarcasm.

"Why do you make everything so difficult, can't you give me a chance?"

"Is this about asking me out or doing the project with you?"

"Both! Please Mia, just say yes to the project and then after you can forget about me."

"Fine, what time do you want me at yours tonight?"

"In bed or ... ?" I asked with a cheeky smirk on my face.

She punched me in the arm. "You know what I mean Evans." She said almost blushing.

The bell rang and Mia's face lit up with joy, rushing to the door to get as far away from me as possible. She grabbed all her belongings and she was out of the door in a flash. Running as fast as she ran on the field.
