As Ash and I threw on our pajamas, there was some unspoken tension hanging in the air.
Neither of us really knew how to describe what happened. We almost kissed, but that was it. We didn't really know what took over us at that exact moment. But god, I wanted that feeling to surge through me again.
I thought of how his lips felt against mine.
Soft, they kind of smelled like.. Vanilla? Either way, it was a good scent.
He laid a blanket down on the floor and I set mine next to his. Not exactly the most comfy set up, but it worked.
As Ash nodded off, I watched Jacksepticeye for about an hour.
I should sleep, I thought to myself.
I turned and faced the blonde not beside me, who was out like a light. But he looked adorable while he was sleeping. I quickly grabbed my phone.
Hey, you awake? I texted Mel.
Yeah, what's up? You okay? She texted back almost instantly.
Yeah, I'm great. Ash and I almost kissed. I felt myself blush as the three dots appeared. What was she going to say about this?
I figured you guys would. Almost? Why didn't you actually kiss?
Mom walked in.
Makes sense. You should get to sleep, it's really late. Goodnight, Dominic.
Night, Mel.
The screen went dark as I laid my head down to rest. I was honestly kind of surprised at the under reaction I got from Mel, but I guess she was just disappointed that we didn't really finish the kiss.
As I drifted off to sleep, I dreamed of Ash. Standing on my toes to kiss him, curling up in his lap, spooning with him.
Gosh, I wanted it all so bad.
Maybe one day I'll actually have it...
