I can honestly say that electricity coursed through my veins.
He pulled away, almost seeming reluctant. I was still stuck in my haze, almost as if I'd taken a drug or something. I smiled at him, my cheeks blushing bright red.
"So... Care to dance?" Ash asked, grinning.
"Definitely," I replied, looking over to see a nicely dressed Mel bouncing on the balls of her feet and grinning at us.
We took the floor as a song, I'm not sure what it was, seeing as I was only paying attention to Ash.
We earned a few awkward glances from other students, but luckily, the school I went to was fairly liberal. They even had an lgbt club.
It seemed as if the night was ending all too soon, like soon I'd have to go back to my normal every day life. So I had to enjoy this perfection while it lasted.
And maybe if I play my cards right...
I shook the thought off quickly.
"So... Did you like the kiss?" I asked the blondy, looking into his eyes.
"Definitely. You're really good at it, honestly." he winked at me, and that familiar blush spread across my cheeks.
"Thanks."
And then he did it again. Another kiss, this time a quick peck, but still amazing.
I bit the inside of my cheek, a bit overexcited at the fact that Ash had kissed me, not once, but twice in one night.
This was it. I had to ask. I couldn't take it any longer. He'd made it obvious that he likes me, and I definitely liked him.
But what if he likes Kenna?
Oh, shut up, pessimistic voice in my head!
"So Ash.. Wanna go on a date this weekend?"
