"Ah the rebellious guy I have known for what now? Three years? Has come back to school after five months of not doing so. Finished fucking with girls already eh? Or did you ran out of girls? Or just simply had a change of heart when it comes to school? Because that would be the most shocking news of the year."Eden asked, a smile plastered on his face as he leaned against the locker besides mine with his arms folded.

"Oh I assure you oh ever so wise Eden, I haven't finished fucking with girls yet." I rolled my eyes as I snickered while taking the thick textbooks out of my messy locker.

"If you ever run out of girls, you can tumble with the new girl. Her name's Charlotte Angel. Just joined our may I add, in a sarcastic manner, brilliant and fantastic school yesterday." he patted my back, grinning.

I slammed the locker and looked at Eden, one of my hand grabbing onto the textbooks and the other pressing against my locker.

"Oh really? Thanks buddy. I will add her to the list of girls to fuck with. And if I run out of girls, I will tumble with your girl. The only girl I have spared out of the bitches in our school. Who is it again? Oh yes, Helena?" I joked.

"You can tumble with her. We broke up a hell long time ago. I am now currently trying to win the new girl's sister's heart. She's pretty ya know? "

Eden muttered, rubbing his jaw.

I raised my eyebrow. I didn't know that Eden broke up with Helena. Damn, I didn't go to school for a long time till I never knew what is going on in school. I thought they were perfect minus the fact that Helena is a bit clingy. But than again, Eden always swiftly jumped to one girl after another. I was about to ask more when the bell rang.

The students in the crowded hallway immediately dispersed.

Both Eden and I waved goodbye and parted our ways. I headed to my first class of the day which is coincidentally the subject I hated the most - Mathematics or Maths for short.

When I appeared at the doorway of my classroom, the chattering immediately died down. They must have been shocked that I was still alive and well to make it to school which would be the talk of the town as people told others of my great return to school which is basically a twenty minute walk from home to where I always sit in Mathematics class. As I walked in, I could hear everybody whispering about me. I ignored them and sat down comfortably in my desk nearest to the back door.

Sitting nearest to the back door is always a pleasure because I can just sneak out of class when I am bored which is always handy during Maths class. I was a few minutes early so I just kicked the desk in front of me which nobody ever sits at while waiting for our Mathematics teacher to arrive.

The whisperings died down when Mr Brown strode in the classroom. He was a bald man who wore spectacles and nearly the same clothes everyday. He was quite tall and had to bend down often to write the mathematical formulas on the board which probably caused his hunched back. Mr Brown placed all the papers in his arms down on the teacher's table. He was about to greet the class when his eyes laid on me. He cocked his eyebrow when he saw me.

"Long gone Mr. Valentina. A pleasure to have you back. What changed your perspective of school causing you to even bother coming and bringing your textbooks?" He asked as he eyed me.

Everyone immediately glanced at me.

"No shit Sherlock but my perspective never once changed. But sometimes it gets boring at home you know? So it's always a great pleasure to be back." I answered him as I looked at him in the eye whilst giving him a kind smile. At least he remembered me, most of the teachers here barely remember me which is great because they would not report my absence to school. Luckily though, Mr Brown , despite remembering me, had never reported my absence which is something I am thankful for.

"Very well than. Class flip to page twenty seven of your textbook." he shrugged his shoulders which creaked with age as he began his lesson as he picked up one of the papers and started drawing polygons on the whiteboard.

Luckily he wasn't that strict of a teacher so the class was a havoc as people chatted with each other. Who would blame him? He's bloody seventy years old. He can't be bothered anymore - whether we pay attention, come to class or anything else.

Nonetheless, it's quite understanding why many in our class of thirty didn't pay attention though. He's one hell of a boring teacher who teaches one hell of a complicated and boring subject in my opinion. A great combination indeed which surprisingly hasn't had me dying on a literal basis.

I thought I was going to die of boredom when a girl appeared in the doorway of our class.

The perfect distraction and a life saver.

The chattering immediately died down as everybody focused their attention to the girl standing in the doorway. The girl was wearing a white cropped tee shirt which was paired with a faded blue jeans and a pair of boots. She looked as if she was around my height. Her raven hair fell around to her waist level. Her face was round and her skin glowed. But what was even more enchanting and appealing was her eyes -her violet eyes. She simply looked like an angel sent from heaven and for that, she took my breath away.

Mr Brown stopped teaching for a moment as he looked at the girl, reeling his 70 year-old brain to remember who the girl was.

"Um hi, is this Mr Brown's class? I'm Charlotte Angel, the new girl. Sorry I'm late. Still haven't got used to the school." the girl muttered nervously. She then pursed her lips while waiting for our teacher's reply.

Her accent sounded like music to my ears. It only made me more interested to know who this girl was. I glanced at Mr Brown and then back at the girl.

"Oh, oh, yes...I am Mr Brown. It is fine that you are late. You can take a seat..." Mr Brown paused to scan the vicinity looking for the empty desk that Charlotte can sit at. But I was sure that he would pick the desk in front of me because it was the only desk left in the class which hasn't been occupied by anybody.

He faced the girl and pointed to the seat in front of me before saying, "You can sit there, Charlotte."

The girl proceeded towards the desk while staring at me. I watched her as she sat down. She glanced at me for a second before looking at Mr Brown.

"Right class, let's continue with polygons. Does anybody know..."Mr Brown picked up from where he left off.

But I didn't pay attention to what he was saying. Instead, I was focusing my attention on Charlotte. Unfortunately since she was in front of me, her back was facing me and I could only see her hair. Despite that, it did not stop me from imagining how I would run my hand through her hair when we tumble together in bed.

The more I thought about it, the more I was sure I would have her.

She would be mine for she was the cupid who shot an arrow through my heart.
