CHAPTER 5

Evening of the first day of 27 Days

Charlotte's p.o.v

I opened my eyes slowly before shutting them when the light was too blinding.

Where am I?

I didn't need another human to answer my question because a sly voice replied it.

"You kissed him idiot and he carried you to the car where you guys fucked with each other. You then fell asleep in the car and now he must have carried you to his room."

I blushed when I recalled the scene of us kissing.

What was I even thinking?

I breathed in and out slowly as I heard a male voice whistling.

I took a peek at who it was and it was William coming out of the shower with a towel hanging around his hips.

My eyes immediately roamed his chiseled abs and his five o'clock stubble before meeting his emerald eyes.

I shut my eyes upon meeting his so as to signal that I wasn't awake nor was I observing him.

But the plan was a fluke because I could feel William sitting on the comfy bed I was on and staring at me.

I could feel as his hot breath just mere inches away.

I slowly opened my eyes only to be greeted by William's face that was literally mere inches away from touching my face.

I yelped in shock and instincts took the better of me so I pushed him off the bed as strong as I could.

I watched as William fell off the bed and his towel became loose.

Unfortunately, he couldn't catch his towel in time so he stood up in his full glory.

Oh my fucking gosh.

My hands unconsciously itched to touch him.

"What the heck Charlotte!"

He furrowed his eyebrows before reaching the ground to pick hus white towel and tied it quickly around his hips.

"So-sorry. You were so close."

I apologised as I sat up in bed and watched him take out a suit that had been ironed from his closet.

"What are you doing with that?"

I asked stupidly as he placed the suit oh the bed I was sitting on.

"Well I'm getting ready for the party Eden invited us to go just now. Remember I told you about it?"

He answered before smirking and saying,"Better close your eyes Charlotte unless you want to see me naked."

"You wish!"

I immediately shuffled out of the king sized bed and went to the toilet.

I went straight to the bathroom and stared at the reflection of myself.

The reflection didn't really look like me at all.

She looked so vulnerable but yet she looked like she wanted more.

I shook my head.

I can't let this happen again.

I went out of the toilet to see William already in his suit, combing his hair in front of his mirror with his back facing me.

"You get ready for the party. Do you have a dress?" William asked when he saw the reflection of me in the corner of the mirror.

"No, I don't." I answered as my eyes followed his movements.

He whirled around to face me and dug his pockets.

He produced a credit card and held it out for me.

"Take this, you can buy a dress in town. My personal chauffeur will drive you there."

I wanted to refuse it but I realised this could be a perfect comeback for earlier on when he called me his fiancée.

I gave a cat smile and took the credit card from him.

"Do you know your way out of this place? Would you like me to guide you? It's your first time in this house that we'll be staying in!" he asked a I was walking out of the door.

"No thanks." I replied stubbornly and tried navigated my way out of the house.

It was a big house and I'm relieved I could even manage to get out from there.

I got in the car that was sitting outside and  told his personal chauffeur.

"To the town please."

The personal chauffeur nodded his head and we were off to town.

The chauffeur dropped me off once we reached town and I immediately went searching for a dress.

I entered a designer shop and the saleswoman greeted me before asking what I would like to buy.

"I would like a dress that would make any man fall in love with me even though I am already kind of owned by someone else."

"I think we have what you need."
The saleswoman replied knowingly before signalling me to follow her as we searched the dress.

You want to play fire Will?

Well I'll make sure you regret it because I'll have you begging on your knees if a man wants to bed me.

No one messes with Charlotte Angel.
