Chapter Seven

{Adrien's POV}

"No!" I yelled at the villain, standing up  in front of ladybug, knowing how vulnerable she was at the moment. "These miraculous don't belong to you Hawk Moth!" I yelled again, this time with rage. "I know you can here me and you need to stop. Why do you want them. Why do you want to hurt us!" I kept yelling, walking towards Queen Destruction. 

She caught me by surprise by forcing her magic threw her staff my way. I dodged the bullet of magic and it hit a desk behind me, shattering it to pieces. Suddenly, a spotted yoyo flew past my head towards the villain, knocking her staff out of her hand.

"No one hurts my Kitty" Ladybug said in an angry tone. I sent a smile her way but it wasn't returned. Instead she walked past me and picked up the staff and broke it in two; freeing the poor evilized butterfly.

She caught the black insect in her yoyo and purified it, making it white as snow, and released it into the air. The streets were put back to normal; cars put back into place, buildings and homes where rebuilt, everything went back to normal like nothing had happened.

Except my ladybug.

"Until next time Chat Noir" Marinette said as she detransformed in the empty classroom and walked away. She was so sad, it was like a completely different person. She kept her head to the ground and didn't once look me in the eye. And I knew why; because she didn't want me to know that she was Marinette.

{Marinette's POV}

So many thoughts were rushing through my mind. I couldn't think straight at all. It was starting to give me a headache and I just wanted to lay down.

They were all thoughts about Chat knowing that Ladybug was me. The fact that he knew that the brave, fearless, agile, Ladybug was actually just a plain old clumsy Marinette. I just wanted to be home so I could think about this all alone.

I was so lost in my thoughts that I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings. I looked up, only to find myself in the middle of the road. But it was too late.

Everything went black. Everything hurt. I couldn't move, see, or talk. All I could do was listen to the voices I could hear above the ringing in my ears. I tried to make out their voices but they were getting fainter and fainter until I couldn't hear anything else. Everything went silent.

{Chat Noir's POV}

"MARINETTE NO!" I screamed at the top of my lungs as she stepped infront of a moving car on the streets.

I ran over to her, tears spilling from my eyes. This was all my fault. If I had gone about this all a better way it wouldn't of happened. I'm a terrible person. I'm terrible. It's all my fault.

I picked her up in my arms and ran as fast as I could to the hospital. Marinette was covered in cuts and bruises and she was covered in blood from head to toe. I couldn't look at her without causing myself to cry even more.

This was all my fault.

{Time Skip}

"Thank you" I said to the nurse as she left the room. I quickly transformed back to Adrien while I had the room to myself. I kneeled down beside Marinette's hospital ward bed and I held her hand in mine.

"This is all my fault Marinette in sorry. I'm sorry for kissing you. I'm sorry for being there when you transformed. I'm sorry that I lied to you bugaboo. About knowing who you were, about everything. I'm sorry for everything I've ever done to you Marinette because I love you. I love your sapphire eyes and how they glisten in the light. I love your perfectly cute face and your adorable smile. But most of all..." A tear fell from my eye and hit my hand where I held hers tightly.

"But most of all... I love your personality. I love your clumsiness, your stuttered speech, I love YOU. And  sorry I failed to see that Marinette. Because I was way to madly in love with Ladybug. She was all I could think about, until I kissed you. And when I kissed Ladybug, I knew it was you Marinette. I love you for who you are and I don't want you thinking low of yourself because your perfect. Please see that. I'm sorry." More tears were falling now. I sniffled and rubbed the tears away.

"Please wake up Mari" I said, placing my forehead against hers, looking into her closed eyes and closing mine as well. I brought my hands around her back and hugged her carefully, trying not to cause her any pain. My forehead was still on hers, my eyes still shut, taking in the moment and all of what I had said.

I felt two hands grab the back of my head and the lips of M'ladies were planted on mine. The kiss lasted for ages. It was a soft kiss. It felt perfect.

"Thank you Adrien" Marinette spoke as I layed her back down in her hospital bed. I kissed her on the forehead, causing her to close her eyes, and I looked up to make my way towards the door to give Mari some rest. As I looked up I saw two prying eyes looking though the front windows.

Nino and Alya were looking through the blinds, watching as I spilled out to Marinette and as I kissed her. I scratched the back of my neck and awkwardly smiled as I opened the door.

"Don't worry we can't hear through glass" Alya giggled. "I'm glad she's alright though. We were so worried about her." Alya went back over to look through the window.

Nino came and whispered in my ear. "Alya told me that Marinette has a massive crush on you man. Go get her".

"Nino!" Alya punched him in the arm. "If your going to tell Adrien everything I tell you well at least learn to whisper".

"Sorry" he giggled as we all sat down on the seats infront of Marinette's ward. "But can you guys like get together already or what man".

Alya spoke up. "Nino I think the kiss they just shared sealed the deal." That caused them both to giggle and I burned bright red.

"How much did you guys see" I slapped Nino on the arm, laughing, earning myself a kick in the leg.

I hope it sealed the deal. I hope it made up for the last kiss. Even though she doesn't know that that was me.
