Chapter Eleven

{Alya's POV}

I was seeing Marinette in hospital today with Nino. It was 3 days before her birthday and we wanted to ask a nurse if she could be released that day. We wanted to give her a surprise party because she was such an amazing friend. Even though there were a few things that i knew she was keeping from me, im sure she had a valid reason for doing so. I trusted her.

We walked up to the door and i squeezed Nino's hand. "OK" I smiled at him as i twisted the handle and walked inside. There was a loud bang as Nino dropped his backpack on the floor. "Oh my god dude!" He burst into laughter as he held his stomach. "Dude did you really hook up with Mari in the hospital?! Wait ago man" He was tearing up now. I Glared at him with the dirtiest look which made him laugh even harder.

Adrien sat up in the bed as i went over to comfort Nino. Adrien groaned as he sat up to stretch in the bed next to Marinette. He opened his eyes and after a afew seconds, realised what was going on. "Oh my god no man I didnt we were tired no oh my god Nino no nothing happenedbutwekissedandlikedidntgetanyfurtherthanthatandohmygodpleasestoplaughing" Adrien tried to get out the words but failed miserably.

"Wait what did you just say" My eyes were wide now. I heard one word that im pretty sure sounded like 'Kiss'. Marinette sat up quickly as soon as she heard me speak.

Her eyes were as wide as mine just a second ago. There was an awkward silence in the room before Marinette shoved a pillow over Adrien's head in attempt to try shut him up.

"Girl get off Adrien your too late, hes spilled the beans" I laughed, wiping away a tear just as Nino had done beforehand. Adrien rolled over and groaned loudly in embarrassment. "I'm sorry princess it was an accident." He mummbled from under the pillow that he was now holding too his face.

"Adrien dont call me that your making it worse" Marinette whispered loudly as she nudged him in the back. This made me and Nino loose it.

"Well the cats been let outta the bag now, we my aswell finnish what we started before M-" Marinette shoved Adrien onto the cold wooden floor and crossed her arms in frustration before he could say anymore. She laughed awkwardly as she looked at me and Nino who should of gotten some popcorn to watch the two lovebirds fight. I stepped over Adrien, who was lying in his jeans on the floor with a blanket held to his chest, and hopped onto the end of the hospital bed where i sat cross legged.

"C'mon dude lets get you some coffee" Nino choked through laughter as Adrien put a shirt on and followed him out of the ward.

"Girl i need all the deets!"

{Marinette's POV}

It was now almost 7pm and visiting hours were over. Nino and Alya headed home while Adrien stayed to say goodbye. "Adrien?" I asked asked, looking up from my cross legged position on the bed. He looked up and nodded his head. "Adrien i want to go outside. I want some fresh air." I paused, for a moment before i spilled. "I want to swing from the rooftops like i can do as ladybug, Adrien. Im bored of sitting here all day, dreaming about being my alter ego." I pleaded, looking into Adrien's eyes. I saw a glint of Chat Noir's playfulness flash through them.

"And?" He put his hands to his hips and smirked at me. That darn cat.

"Kitty! Do i have to get on my hands and knees and beg. Take me out of this prison. Let me be who i really am. Adrien please can you take me outside so i can be Ladybug again!" I looked longingly into his eyes.

"Thats all you had to say bugaboo". He grinned.  He suddenly looked really worried."But what about your injuries?"

"Tiki said that because she isnt hurt, when i'm ladybug my injuries will heal quicker and they wont hurt as much. I promise i wont be long." There was so much worry in his eyes but after a few seconds of me silently begging, his cheeky grin came back into play. "Well c'mon then LB, what are we waiting for!"

We were soon in the park, sitting on top of the carousel, breathing in the clean air as the cold breeze ran through our hair. I could feel two eyes staring at me from behind. "Kitty stop staring" I giggled as i turned around to face him. Our heads were so close that i could feel his warm breath on my nose. His miraculous beeped to break the silence so we got off the roof before I had to carry him down. As Adrien transformed back he looked deep into my eyes.

"Marinette, i just wanted to tell you that, that i, I love you Marinette. I really do. And i just wanted to know if i could, um.." He scratched the back of his neck awkwardly before finishing his sentence. His cheeks were now glowing bright pink. "Marinette can i have the honour of being your, your boyfriend?" Adrien smiled promisingly.

"I would want nothing more" I smiled as I got up on my tippy toes and kissed him. The kiss was full of passion and i didnt want it to end. Adrien lifted me up by the waste so i was at level with his head as we kept kissing. I could feel the grin from underneath the kiss. It was perfect. Just like a fairytale.

{Alya's POV}

Nino decided he would walk me home after we spent the whole day in Marinette's ward. We all felt bad for her being trapped in there by herself all day until her parents came in the evening. We aproached the park and decided to take a detour through. The night was beautiful. There were stars flooding the sky and the moon lit up the whole of Paris.

I could see two figures kissing near the carousel. It was picture perfect! "Awe that's so cute. If only that could be-" I cut Nino short, though i wasn't listening anyway, because the figure standing there was someone familiar. I gasped in shock and looked at Nino who tilted his head.

"Nino, Adrien is k-kissing Ladybug! I-Ive got to get a photo for Marinette" There was so much hurt in my voice. A tear slipped down my cheek as i remembered how much she loved him, and how much she trusted him. How could he do that to Marinette. This was going to break her precious little heart into millions of pieces. I snapped a photo on my smartphone for Marinette... and for Adrien.

Nino had so much rage in his voice as he spoke. Id never seen him so annoyed.

"What a cheater!"
