Chapter Twelve

Ok you may hate me for this! Ive decided on extending this book to its full potential and instead of making a sequel, when this ones done ill make another of a whole different story line. This book could have a long way to go yet though so i hope you guys are enjoying!!! I Know im enjoying writing this book so much :D Get reading! x

{Adrien's POV}

I walked into school with a massive smile shining from my face. I walked over to Nino to fill him in on what happened last night, of coarse saying it was Marinette I kissed not Ladybug.

As well as that kiss. We also managed to get Marinette out of the hospital early. Even earlier than planned! The nurse had checked her over and before we knew it, she was letting us and her family know she could leave tomorow. Which was today, meaning I could see her again today at school for the first time in 2 weeks!

As soon as i walked up to Nino, I was shocked to see him walk away shaking his head, leaving me standing there lonely.

"What did i do?" I whispered to myself, my ears filling with tears. I turned around to find Marinette. She walked into the yard on time today which is a surprise. My smile came back as she walked my way.

"Good morning bugaboo" I smirked as her smile went away, replacing it with a playful, shocked look. She walked over to me and we sat down on the bench.

"This isnt going to be a normal occurrence is it 'Kitty'" She giggled, putting her hands on her hips.

"Coarse not M'La-" I was cut off mid word by Alya.

"Hello Marinette can I borrow Mr Agreste for a moment, thanks" She said in a pissed off tone, grabbing my arm and shoving me into a side walkway. "What did you do last night buddy" She said poking me in the chest.

"Um, ah Alya whats wrong?" I was concerned, for my well being. What was going on!

"I saw you Adrien, i saw you kissing her last night. Dont deny that you kissed Ladybug because i have a proof and im going to tell Marinette that you kissed another girl. Adrien, she doesnt deserve this. She trusts you with all her heart. Why did you do that!" She toned her voice down as she went on. This was a disaster. I mean, aslong as Marinette knows this whole situation was me kissing her as Ladybug nothing can go wrong, but if she thinks that i kissed another girl just like Alya and im assuming Nino thinks, im screwed.

"Alya this is just a misunderstanding" I tried to calm her down. She just shock her head and left off towards Marinette. Well, atleast i still have Marinette friends with me for the time being. I need to resolve this before it gets even worse.

{Time Skip}

"Hey Mari, do you understand this question?" I turned around during science class. I knew Marinette was quite good at chemistry and i wasnt able to ask Alya or Nino. They just kept pushing me away.

"Why dont you go ask your friend. You know, the one you kissed after seeing me last night." She faked smiled at me and went back to her work. No no no no this cant be happening! I heard giggles from inside my jacket as Plagg listened to the conservation. This was really bad.

After school I waited for Marinette to come out of class. She emerged from the library and i waited longingly as she came down the stairs. "Mari, we need to talk, please!"

"No Adrien. I trusted you with everything I had. I trusted you so much Adrien. I loved you" She started tearing up as she talked, putting emphasis on 'Loved'.

"Mari its all a misunderstanding, it was y-" I tried to explain but yet again, was cut off.

"No Adrien, I understand" She turned from me and walked away. Her arms were crossed, holding her sides and I could hear the faint cries as she sobbed. I wanted to run after her, hug her, and tell her that she was the only person that I have ever kissed and ever loved, but i couldnt. I had to watch her walk away crying because of me.

I decided to follow her. She cant walk all that way like this. Remember what happened last time.

{Marinette's POV}

I trusted him. I loved him. I kissed him.

Those words kept circling my head. No matter how hard i tried, i couldnt get him out of my mind. Why would he do something like that. Why? Why would he hurt me like that after he just told me that he loved me? Did i do something wrong?

There was a slight pain in my back, causing me to drop to my knees with a lot of force. My face started to burn and a terrible headache started to grow. Adrien had started running over to my side and he sat down infront of me, but i couldnt hear him. It was all a blur.

"Hello Lady Truth, Im Hawkmoth. I give you the power to receive the truth from anyone you wish. Under one cirumstance. You bring me their Miraculous!" A dark voice echoed through my ears. It was deafening. I tried to fight the Akuma away but it was no use. It started taking over my body, my thoughts and my mind.

"No, no you cant!" I yelled. Adrien tried to help as i grabbed my head, trying to fight the pain of me fighting the evil butterfly. "A-Adrien, Adrien run." I stuttered out before the Akuma took full power over my body, making me stand up as i transformed into my villain form.

But i still had a tiny power. I Could still beat him. I could still beat Hawkmoth. But the more i fought, the weaker i got. It was causing me excruciating pain. Adrien hadnt left my side, despite me telling him to run. I didnt want him getting hurt, though he would be the one having to try fight me if i couldnt do it myself.

"Im not going to leave your side Marinette" He shook his head. Something in my mind made me speak, though i tried to stop it with all my might. But they had more power over me than i did. I was loosing the battle.

"Silly boy, Im Lady Truth!"
