{Marinette's POV}

I didn't even know these people and just like that, they already know who I am as a civilian. It took so long to build my trust up to even want to show Adrien, not that it was my choice. I haven't even shown Alya yet and these two strangers are already walking around knowing who the biggest heroes in Paris really are.

I held back the tears at the thought. It terrified me to think that. But there were bigger things on my mind right now. My hand was in the hold of the person we had been looking for for a whole year now. Hawk moth!

"Let go of me!" I screamed as I struggled around like s helpless bird. But he just tightened his grip around my wrist. I winced in pain as he pulled me closer and tilted my chin up with one of his long fingers. I refused to look into his eyes as I looked away, away from everyone else.

"For the price of your beautiful earrings of coarse". A Cheshire grin spread across his face.

"Don't touch her! You don't have any right to touch her like that let her go. I won't let you hurt her nor will I let you take her miraculous!" Chat Noir screamed from behind me as he swung his staff towards Hawk Moths arms.

"Would you like to buy her, maybe for the price of, a ring?" He smirked, squeezing my arm tighter.

There was a slight pause of thinking. "M-Maybe I would!" He yelled back.

Before anything could happen I yelled back. I couldn't let him give up his miraculous! "I'm not for sale!" But Chat Noir just winked. What was he going to do? I started to panic.

"Want my ring you discussing moth?! Well catch!" He threw his ring and transformed back into Adrien. Hawk Moth wasn't interested at all in him and had all eyes on the ring. But of coarse, he didn't throw it at him! He threw it straight at me who of coarse caught it, just as Hawk Moth let go in attempt to catch the ring.

"That's it!" He screamed before turning Adrien's way. He had one arm raised which dropped to his side dramatically as his face went pure white. His eyes were glassy and his mouth hung slightly open. He looked really distant as he look at his civilian self. Did He know Adrien? Did Adrien know him?

"I-I um," he grabbed a white butterfly in hand and let it, now black, fly towards Adrien. "Know you will help me beat your friends!" He let out an evil laugh as the life snapped back into his eyes.

Before I even had time to panic, I was able to snap it up in her yoyo right infront of Adiens face and let it free, away from Hawk Moths grasp.

"Not today Hawk Moth!" I yelled, spinning around to catch him by surprise in my YoYo. "Time to purify your darkness! Chat Noir grab the broach!" I yelled. He ran over and snatched the broach from Hawkmoths chest.
