Connor's pov:
Everything went in slow motion as Ricky jumped. I grabbed Troye holding him so he wouldn't see Ricky's body hit the ground. He screamed and cried. "What's going on here?" An angry voice yelled, Ruth. Me and Troye were in tears. He was crying so hard I didn't think he could stop. We were on the ground as he cupped him mouth. "It's Ricky" I said through my sobs. "Wait what?" She asked. She ran over to the ledge. A second later she came back to us, literally a second later. "C'mon" she picked Troye up. She didn't even shed a tear. She put him in his bed. I laid down with him. He cried into my chest for what felt like hours. "Take away the pain, make it GO AWAY!" He yelled. I just laid there with him making shushing noises. As morning came Troye slept. "What happened I heard screaming?" Said a girl coming up to Troyes door. "Uh.." I tried not to ball my eyes out all over again. "Ricky's not with us" I saw the tears in her eyes, "oh I'm so sorry" she whispered before walking off into the gathering room for breakfast. I laid Troye into a more comfortable position, and went into Ricky's room. I sat on his bed letting the tears fall down my cold cheeks. "Time to eat" Said Ruth coming into his room, her eyes were puffy she had been crying. "Why would I eat my best friend just died." I spat back through my angry tears. "I understand" she replied walking out. I sat there soaking in his absence. The once happy cheerful Ricky I met on the first day, was gone now. I read the note. I smiled at his mis-spelled words. He put a heart beside Troye's name and mine. I laid back staring at the ceiling. "Ricky, can you hear me? If so I still love you. I know your in a better place now." I sat there in the awkward silence hoping no one heard me.
