Aisa's P.O.V
I woke feeling relaxed and happy. I opened my eyes to a dimly lit room. It had a single window through which the early morning light could be seen slowly creeping across the outside world. I was resting on one of two beds that were in the room. On the other, Naruto lay curled on his side. He was still in his normal clothes, showing that he hadn't planned on falling asleep. I smiled to myself. What a goofball. He shifted a bit and opened his eyes. A smile immediately spread across his face. "You're awake!" I chuckled. "Ya, I'm up. So where's my breakfast?" He laughs. "Ya, you're deffinately alright. How you feeling?" I stood carefully and stretched. "Fine. In fact, I feel great." I noticed that I was in my spare set of mission clothes. Sakura must have helped then... Shocker. I smiled. "Let's go." He nodded and we walked downstairs to the kitchen. The rest of the team, Tazuna, a woman, and a young boy were sitting at the table. Everyone stopped talking as Naruto and I came in. We sat down across from Sasuke and Sakura, who were staring openly at me. I quirked an eyebrow. "Can I help you?" Sakura seems to snap out of a trance. "How's your wound? It looked pretty bad when I bandaged it." I shrugged. "It feels fine. Doesn't hurt at all." I smiled. "But thank you for asking, and for helping me." That seemed to make her happy, as she smiled brightly. We nodded to eachother and turned to our breakfast. I could feel everyone watching me and sighed. "Alright. What's got all of you worked up?" Kakashi sighed back. "Aisa... You should know that Zabuza is..." "Alive? I already know. Just cause I was out of it for a bit doesn't mean I didn't see what happened. I peiced it together in my own mind." They all looked at me like I'd grown a second head. "What? What'd I say?" After that, things went on pretty normal. Afterwards, Kakashi took us to the forest for some training. I stood to the side as Sakura explained chakra and we were told of our exercise. Tree climbing? You gotta be kidding me.... While Kakashi demonstrated, I picked a rather large tree and walked on up. I stood on the tip as the other focused their chakra. I smirked when Kakashi finally noticed my absence. "Where's Aisa?" They looked around a bit as I chuckled. "Hey! Got anything else, or were you just gonna have us run kiddy stuff all day?" I waved as they gaped up at me. I spent my time up there while the others trained. I smiled as I saw Naruto ask Sakura for advice. Now he's got the right idea. Maybe there's hope for our teamwork after all. The next day, Kakashi sent Sakura and I to guard Tazuna on the bridge. We sat off to the side quietly and not much happened at all. Eventually, they breaked for lunch and we followed Tazuna into town. Looking around, all I saw was misery. It made me angry, knowing that they had been pushed to this. If I ever see this 'Gato', I'll kill him! I could see that Sakura was just as effected and placed a hand on her shoulder. She nodded to me and we followed Tazuna back to the house. That night, I laughed my head off as NAruto and Sasuke were going at it again. "You two are hilarious, you know that?" Tey glared at me, but their mouths were still full. So, they looked like chipmunks, which made me laugh even more. When dinner was over, Sakura asked about the picture on the wall. Inari left and Tsunami went after him. I listened as Tazuna told the story of Kaiza. When it was over, I could feel the tears threatening to spill from my own eyes. The things these people have suffered... I watched NAruto stand, even though Kakashi said he shouldn't train anymore today. Naruto just smiled. "I'm gonna prove that kid wrong. There are real heroes!" I smiled. You do that, Naruto. If anyone can, it's you. I went to sleep that night knowing I wouldn't see Naruto in the morning. I was right. He had stayed out all night training. I checked my bandages that morning and smiled at the unbroken skin. The wound had already healed. I joined everyone downstairs as they discussed Naruto. I chuckled and slipped out the door to go see how he was doing. I finally found him, talking to a boy that looked like a girl. "Naruto." The two looked over and I smiled. The three of us sat and talked for a while. The girly boy seemed familiar and we got along great. Eventually, though, he had to leave. On his way out, he told Naruto he was a boy, causing Naruto to wig out. I just laughed. Throughout the day, I watched Naruto and Sasuke train. I smiled when they reached the top and whispered. "Well done, boys." I walked back with them to the house. Kakashi appointed them as guards, so we would all be watching Tazuna. I smiled as he quoted the First Hokage. However, Inari simply stood and pronounced us all dead. "You're only butting in! You don't know what it's like to suffer!"This brought out a short outburst from Naruto, who then left while Sakura complained. I stood and walked around the table to Inari. I smiled sadly. "Listen, Inari. We all know the risk of what we're doing. I know you thik we should run, but if we do, then your grandpa will be killed. You say we don't know suffering... I can't speak for the others, but I can tell you about myself. My mother died bringing me in to this world. My father...died. When I was 2 years old. The only family I have left is my brother, and I have no clue if he's alive or dead. My whole life, I pushed myself to do my best. The villagers gave me support, but the council tried to keep me down because of something out of my control. And when I finally reached the goal I worked for, my village was attacked and I was seperated from everyone close to me. For a month, I was tortured and experimented on. I know all about suffering." Still calm, I knelt next to him. "My point is that despite what we might have been through, we push on so that others won't have to know that kind of pain. I go on, for the sake of hope. We each have something that pushes us forward and past our fears. You need only find yours." I kissed his forehead as my brother used to kiss mine when I was scared. "Remember that." With that, I stood and went to comfort Naruto. The next day, I stayed at the house and waited for Naruto while the others went to the bridge. When he woke, he went into a frenzy, claiming we ditched him (even though I was sitting right there). As he was about to open the door, I heard something outside. "Wait..." He stopped. I growled. "We have company..."
Kakashi's P.O.V
I smiled as Sasuke took down the water clones. I and my team faced the enemy. I sighed as Sasuke called out the masked ninja. Careful, Sasuke. The masked boy rushed us and was blocked by Sasuke. I watched them and noticed the boy using only one hand to make hand signs. This is trouble.
Aisa's P.O.V
I smiled and bound our enemy's hands as Naruto and Inari share a laugh. "Hey, hyenas! Not that I want to interrupt, but we've got a battle to join." Naruto nodded and we took off towards the bridge. We're coming guys. Just hold on.
