Chapter 7.

Jaxon POV

I can't believe my mate just rejected me. She didn't even give me a chance to work things out. Even though I'm about to be a father I still want her by my side. I didn't dare shed a tear, even when they were threatening to spill out, I'm an alpha and i have to remain strong. With Valerie carrying my heir I have to make her luna now. UGH!! Why is Ryleigh so stubborn?! I would have been able to be with her while running the pack and raising a kid with valerie, everybody wins. Ooh ryleigh, I need her, I need to feel her waolls swallow me whole as her sweet juices pool beneath me.  With her being in heat the need to mate her has grown. But her actions tonight were extreme, if we weren't wolves then valerie would be in a great deal of pain right now. Speaking of val, I haven't seen her since ryleigh hit her on stage.  I need to set up an appointment for her with the pack doctor. Taking a whiff of val's now faint scent, I walked out my office and headed downstairs. The minute I reached the ground floor I felt someone embrace me from behind. Turning to face her i kissed her roughly while leading her over to the couch. I wasted no time in ripping her skirt and panties off as I used my tongue to explore her mouth. Ryleigh POV

I couldn't go home right now, not with his scent still lingering in my livivng room that is, and all this running has made me hungry. Heading towards the local diner I smelt the familiar scent of cinnamon and sandalwood. Why would he be here? Last I checked he was residing in the south. Shrugging off the weird deja-vu feeling I went inside and took a seat at the counter. With my head in my hands I began to think about todays events, the day started off really good and ended with me rejecting my soulmate. Jaxon...No matter how hard I try I can't  get him out of my head. His long dark hair, perfectly sculpted body and massive cock that would have any woman soaked just by looking at it. And that tongue of his....Mmm I need him now! Shit, I almost forgot about my heat, after I eat I'm going straight home, I cant risk being approached by unmated wolves. Looking over the menu choices I heard the person next to me say, " Well isn't this a small world." I knew that voice all to well. "Hello Xavier." I said in a bored tone. Xavier and I used to date awhile back, but we broke up when he asked me to be the luna of his pack, I would of accepted but he's the alpha of a rogue pack. There was no way I could accept that title without bringing shame to my parents and pack, as well as myself. Plus I wasn't ready for that type of responsibility yet. "Oh come on rye, you know you missed me just as much as I missed you." he said while starring at my chest. "I highly doubt that and could you be any less of a perv?" I replied sarcastically. "Perv? Really ryleigh? Well with a woman of your beauty I juat can't help myself, especially when it comes to your mouth watering tits and delectable pussy." he said with a smirk. With just those words I felt heat build up between my legs.Giving him a pat on the back and excused myself to the restroom, purposely swaying my hips as I walked. Seconds had went by before I felt a searing pain in my neck. I gripped the sink as more waves of pain hit me. *What's happening to me?!* I asked my wolf. *Mate...mareked...another..* she breathed out, clearly in pain as well. The pain was so intense It took all of my will power to hold back my screams. After what seemed like an eternity the pain finally began to fade away and I was able to catch my breath again. How could he do this?! Again! Clearly I mean nothing to him and everything he said to me was a fucking lie!! And here I was regretting my decision about rejecting him. I felt betrayed and stupid. All of my anger surged through me and I felt as if my head would explode. My mate left me to play daddy to a kid thats not even his and replaced me with his ex. The fates have thrown me another curve ball and my heart can't take anymore. I don't think that I deserve all the shit I'm going through and I refuse to continue to put up with it. If he can move on with someone else then so can  I. Splashing some water on my face and taking a few calming breaths I exited the restroom. Walking to my seat I noticed that xavier was staring at me with those mesmerizing steel grey eyes of his. "Are you ok rye? you've been in there for quite some time." he asked once I reached him, genuine concern laced his voice. "I'm fine, just alittle tressed is all." i replied dismissively. he didn't need to know about my mate problems. "Well you know I've always been great at relieving your stress." he said while his hand slid up my shorts and moved up my thigh towards my core. Feeling my body heat up I shifted uncomfortably in my seat. "And who say I'll let you relieve that stress?" I asked in a teasing tone. He didn't respond, only stared before he grabbed my face and started kissing me hungrily. His kiss was different from jaxon's, it was more passsoinate and more gentle. As our tongues danced his hand massaged my sensitive bud. Biting my lip I supressed the urge to moan out loud. He started going faster and I felt my shorts dampen with my juices. Just when I couldn't take it anymore he broke the kiss and withdrew his hand back, leaving me in a heated frenzy. Standing up I smoothed down my shorts and grabbed his hand leading him toward the parking lot. Once we reached his carhe pinned me against the door and kissed me senseless. Again he let his hand wander, stroking the swell of my breast before sliding his thumb over my nipple. Leaning down he trailed hot kisses down my neck to my collar bone.
