Your P.O.V
It had been two months since you had the dinner 'date' with Bruce. Since then, even without his help, your campaign had been soaring. The polls were well in your favor, and although the voting was a few months off, you were confident for a easy win. Then again, as you were soon to learn, in Gotham, things could change in the shortest of times.
The late night news was discussing the usual polls and you turned off your TV, content. Standing up from your seat, you stretched and let out a yawn. Taking your empty wine glass into the kitchen, you walked into the dark kitchen and turned on the light. As your eyes adjusted to the lighting, you let out a shriek, dropping the glass onto the floor, shattering it.
In your kitchen was a man dressed in a purple and green suit, green hair, and makeup that make him look like a child who had found the makeup kit. "J-Joker." You stammered, back up slightly. That's when you bumped into her. A girl with a similar makeup completion, blonde hair, and a baseball bat. You froze as she licked her upper lip. "Seems sweet-cheeks was trying to escape Mr. J." She said.
"Now Harley,". The Joker said, hopping off the counter from which he was perched. "We're guests!" He opened his arms and gestured to your home. You bit your lip, too scared to say anything. The Joker flashed you a sickly smile. "Forgive us for the intrusions but I don't think we've met." He bent down and kissed your had. You were shaking very hard now, partly in fear, partly in anger. "W-what do you want?" You said sternly. If this was going to be your city, you needed to start defending it.
"Oh Y/N, Y/N." The Joker said shaking his head. "You know who I am. The better question is". He picked up a large piece of the broken glass. "What am I doing in your house?" He grinned and shoved the glass into the corner of your mouth violently. "You wanna know...? Where I got these scars." He said gesturing to the corners of his mouth. You glanced at Harley before back to him.
Getting no answer, the Joker continued. "My father was a prominent business man, but he was also a very honest man. One day, he made a deal with another business man who promised his materials for his... charades per say." The Joker adjusted his grip on the glass and your felt a small pain as it nipped your tongue. "But the business man stopped sully the materials and went against his word." The Joker removed the glass from your mouth for a moment as he waved his finger around. "Now my father, bless his soul, couldn't do anything to the business man." He grinned and gave a small laugh. "Haha- but- ha. He was angry." The Joker hissed in a breath. "Very angry. When he got home, he grabbed a glass just like this and smashed it." The Joker slowly moved the glass back to your mouth.
"Then, he CUT my mother's neck." You felt the glass dig into your flesh and you cried out. Shutting your eyes tight, you tried to rid yourself of the nightmare before you but the madman continued. "Then he turned to me and said; 'son? WHY... SO.... SERIouS!?" The glass reminded in your skin a moment more before it was removed. You opened eyes and looked at the Joker who met your gaze with a crazed look. "He dug the glass into the corners of my mouth so that I would always be smiling." He finally concluded. "Oh Mr J! It gets better every time you tell it!" Harley swooned.
You stumbled back and hit the wall, leaning on it for support. "But what does this have to do with me?" You asked, trembling. The Joker walked over and leaned into your face. "Your father had a deal with me. He would give me my weapons and I would leave his company and its dealing alone." You stared in shock. "My father made a deal with you?" Your shock was replaced by unbridled rage. The Joker waved his hand in front of your face, grabbing your attention. You glared at him and Harley shortened the distance between her and her lover.
"You're sick." You said spitting in his face. The Joker let out a laugh that lasted for maybe a full minute. He looked from you to Harley pointing. Then, without warning, he slammed your head into the wall. "Now this here is how this is going to go. Me and my buddies will get the weapons from you, call it keeping up the family tradition if you like. And,". Joker gestured to you. "You... Don't get killed!" Joker let out another laugh, this time joined by Harley.
"N-Never!" You cried out. The Joker smiled at you. "I would suggest you take a few days to think about it or the consequences will be..." Joker rubbed his eyes with his fists to impersonate crying. The Joker bowed. "Please doing business with your... Y/N." Then he let a maniacal laugh and Harley walked up to you, swinging her bat. Before you could respond, she hit you with all her might and the world became black.

A/N:  When I was writing this, I kept reading the Joker's lines in his voice.  I also tried to capture him as best I could so I hope I did ok.  I can't wait to write more I think it will get pretty interesting but hey, why trust the guy writing the book right?  No... Jk.  Anyway, love you all and stay awesome!
