She woke up with a start, napasarap ata yung tulog niya dahil sa ilang araw walang tulog at sa pagod at excitement. Wala siyang kasama sa bed. Where is JJ? She went out the room to find her son watching tv in the livingroom. He waved his good morning while munching on chicken nuggets.

She checked her phone & found J's message.

"Good morning! I hope you had a good sleep. Dumaan ako earlier to bring breakfast, ate with JJ. Di ka na namin ginising because I want you to catch up on your sleep. I'm in Pampanga to inspect the plant & to meet with the people here. Kain ka muna & text or call me kung gising ka na. I miss you already. See you later, may date tayo." 😘 (kiss emoji)

Hmm ok, ang sweet mo ha, wag kang ano! Hay naku mamaya ka sa kin. I have to get ready for work at baka ma-late pa ako.

J's been going around the country to check on the the factories & manufacturing plants they own. He's very hands-on & she's been hearing really good stuff about his avant-garde management style. He takes the time to get to know each & every employee. Holding monthly general assemblies with employees to get the pulse & help address issues.q

She's in the middle of replying to emails when her phone rang.

"Maine!"

"Oh hi!"

"Di ba sabi ko sa yo text or call me when you wake up?"

"Sorry, I woke up late & got sidetracked, I'm replying to emails, madami-dami 'to."

Heavy sigh, then silence.

"Hello, J, are you there?"

"Yes."

"Huy sorry na."

"Alam mo naman naminiss kita eh."

"Hahaha pabebe ka!"

"Gusto mo naman!

"Slight lang."

"Patingin ng slight."

"Uwi ka dito."

"Paalis na ako in a few minutes. Uwi ka na after lunch we need to leave around 4 the latest."

"Ha? Ang aga naman kala ko ba dinner?"

"Basta, wag na makulit."

"Ikaw yon."

"Hay naku, sige na, see you later, I can't wait."

"Mukha mo!"

He just chuckled then said goodbye. She left at almost 2pm. She was surprised to see a huge white box delivered to her condo. Ano na naman 'to? She was surprised to see an off-white bustier midi dress inside the box. With a note that says,

"Para di ka na mahirapan what to wear in case di ka pa naglaba." 😀 (Smiley emoji)

She smiled at his thoughtfulness. May pa-haves? Hay naku, makaligo na nga. Since he hinted that this is a date, she took extra care with her appearance. She wants to look her best.
