Monday came way too soon. She should open a bottle of champagne to celebrate her life. She lasted a week when she expected to last only a day.

After a relaxing and enjoyable time with the family this weekend, she feels revitalized. She decided to let fate dictate what will happen with J. Basta para sa kanya, he's her boss. Nothing more, nothing less.

Ok fine, crush ko sya! Pero hanggang don lang talaga, walang halong harot. Crush, that sounds so juvenile. Ano ka 15?

She's an hour early today, no rushing. Just an easy, cool Monday for her. She entered his office to make sure it has been cleaned & everything's in order.

To her surprise, she found J sleeping on the couch, wearing a white shirt & boxers. She found some of his personal stuff all over his office.

She began clearing some of the stuff, folding his clothes and putting them away. She's so busy with what she's doing that she didn't notice him sitting up, rubbing his eyes.

"Oh hey, good morning!"

She practically jumped at his voice. He just looked at her with sleepy eyes, his hair tousled & a shadow of his stubble on his chin. Aww, he's so adorable! Then he stretched, oh my!

"Uhm, did you sleep here?"

"Bawal ba?"

"Syempre hindi bawal especially if you own the building, it was just a question."

"Yes, I had an argument with dad last Saturday and I'm just cooling off."

"Ba't hindi ka nag-hotel?"

"I don't want them to find me, this is the last place they'll look."

He was just sitting there, looking forlorn & lost so she approached him and sat down on an empty chair. He looks like he badly needs a hug. YANG TATAA? She cleared her throat. And gave him a warm smile.

"I'll get you coffee."

"No, stay."

"Ummm, that couch looks really uncomfortable. You want me to change that, yung sofa-bed baka mas comfortable.. " She blabbered on while he was just staring at her.

"Are you married?"

"Ha? Erhm, no."

That was the first thing he did last Monday, check her file. He knows she's not married, he really just wants to hear it from her. He even drove by her condominium building, creepy, I know.

"Why?"

"Because.."

"Boyfriend?"

"Uhmm, wala eh, busy ako."

"With what?"

"My work, family.."

"What were you doing in New York?"

"Haaaaah? Umm, I think I'll get that coffee now."

"You cannot run away all the time, M, because whatever you're running from, it will catch up with you." He said this softly.

"I think you better get ready, I'll be outside."

He just gave a resigned sigh but still remained seated. She was expecting him to stand up and go to the bathroom.

"Tayo na dyan so I can fix that area para hindi makalat."

"I'm not wearing anything under my boxers."

"Oh! Ok, sabi ko nga sa labas lang ako."
