"Yes. Right..no I am not being irresponsible..ahan..yes..no..but..okay..got it..that's not how it is!..I don't know.."
"That seems like a very healthy conversation." Filip retorted to Wyatt with a straight-face.
"Very healthy." Wyatt snickered repeating.
"Will you two shut up?" I whispered agitated.
"No mom that was just the house-keeping telling about the very healthy food he was delivering. Yes thank you for the healthy food." I lied.
"Hey housekeeping, please deliver a bottle of chilled champagne to my room." Filip drawled looking towards Wyatt.
Wyatt just scowled at him.
"Yes, I will call you every other day just to let you know I am perfectly alive or text you if I have been kidnapped or I'd send a note through a pigeon if I lose my phone. Don't worry." I sarcastically replied to my darling over-protective mother.
She was a wonderful mother and so was Dad. They had provided everything they ever could to me and I really did love them but they were accustomed to think of the worst possibilities. Like if I am not picking up, it'd be because she died on drug overdose or got killed for being so naïve. They were over-protective and over-possessive and they would just over do everything when it came to me. Maybe because I was their only daughter. Unfortunately, I was protected from everything and then upon being thrown in the real adult world, I faced a major blow on my poor head and am still recovering. I hope this trip fastens the process.
"No mother, as I said twenty three times already, my phone was discharged and I was busy with the tour so I kind of completely forgot about calling you though I texted you that I have landed alive." I spoke to the phone my head reclining on the door, eyes shut out of exasperation.
"Hey Wyatt, do you think she will cause a bump on her head with all that banging on the door?" Bermuda shorts was overheard questioning.
"I am sure she'll be fine." Wyatt spoke with a bored expression.
"Could you maybe stop her from talking anymore?"
"She called me housekeeping, do you seriously expect me to snatch the phone and talk to her mother about how we have a tour to go to and she needs to stop treating this grown ass woman as a child." Wyatt complained.
"Mum, I'll talk later. I need to start on my tour. Can't keep them waiting. Okay? Love you. Take care, yes I will too. Okay...yes...Of course......"
"Not again." Wyatt groaned.
"Bye mum." I spoke moving the communicating machine away from my ear.
"Yes? Where were we again?" I questioned smiling.
"We were packing up so we could get on a car and take a road trip. That's all. No bigi. Filip replied picking his bag pack.
"Wow, so how did you get car overnight while I was happily dreaming about my future best-selling novel?" I queried curiously.
I knew it; these guys are not normal people. Something is wrong. Save yourself before they make you their sex slave or worse leave you in some dark deep woods so you are eaten up by some wild animal. Your mother will keep waiting for a note through a pigeon that would never come to her. How heart breaking would that be.
Stop over-reacting. I have been hanging out with these two; they are not bad guys. I can feel it in the bone marrow of my bones.
You naïve child, this was all a show so that you are forced to believe they are the good guys.
