"Thank you for being a wonderful husband." Wyatt rolled his eyes as he noticed me blinking rapidly and grinning.

"Anything for you and our child, darling." Wyatt stroked my so called baby bump.

"I am gonna get changed. Should I sleep with the bump or without?" I questioned smacking his hand away.

"With it I guess so it'll be easier to run away from here and do something about our missing identities." Wyatt spoke as he flapped down on the queen sized bed.

.........................................................................

"Wyatt! Are you awake? I need a bit of help. Wyatt?"

"Uh wh-what? What happened?" He asked in his bedroom voice.

Not the time to muse over his voice. Not the time.

"Okay get up-

"I am sleeping Vera. Can't it be done from the bed?"

"No! I want to you move your legs. Please. I wouldn't be asking if I could do it myself."

"Alright, alright. Stop howling. You'll wake the street up."

Coming towards the locked toilet door Wyatt knocked.

"What is it? Some bug you saw?"

"I am not scared of tiny helpless bugs. Let me remind you I am an independent woman who does not need your help-

"You have awaken me from my deep sleep screeching for help." Wyatt stated in an even voice.

"This time I truly am helpless and so I am asking the help of a fellow friend." I pleaded again.

"Just ask already."

"I have aunt flo and cousin red visiting me. I completely forgot about them coming over amidst all the action." I spoke fumbling with my fingers.

"What? Aunt flo? Wha- What are you talking about Vera? Why would your aunt and cousin visit us here? Why is your cousin's name red-

"Wyatt, do you have no idea of slangs used in this world?" I scowled.

"I do know them. Just not this one." Wyatt spoke yawning.

"Now I will have to say what I need to say, uncomfortably." I closed my eyes to stop feeling embarrassed.

"Vera! It's the 21st century, independent women speak openly without hiding behind a couple of twisted phrases."

I am a different kind of independent woman then.

"Fine. I am menstruating. I need you to find my tampon and give it to me." I spoke in a breath.

"Yes I will do it, let me just get the visuals out of my head." I heard his voice from a little far now.

"What visuals?" I asked almost disgusted.

"Found it!" Wyatt exclaimed a few minutes later.

I breathed out a sigh of relief which was cut short with a knock and the sound of feet shuffling before different footsteps were heard.

"Is everything alright? Heard someone screaming up here? Is Vera-

"Everything is fine Jenn. We are sorry for disturbing you." Wyatt rushed in.

-Are you? Is that tampon in your hand?"

My eyed widened at Wyatt's inability to hide a little tampon somewhere.

"What? This? Uh. Yes this is a tampon." Wyatt admitted while my head dropped as I sat on a cold toilet seat.

"I am sure Vera doesn't need a tampon?" Jenn asked something lacing her usually quirky voice.
