"The mountains were quite eye pleasing;a break from all those sky scrapers!" I said cheerily.

"I found something else more eye-pleasing than the lifeless mountains." Ivane teased.

"Oh yes, couldn't take off my eyes from that sight!" Vitor raised his hand to high-five but Ivane couldn't care less about it.

"Wyatt, I personally feel you got a little empowering over her. You didn't give her any time to participate in it equally. That is like male domination. You should understand that the girl needs to be completely voluntarily involved." Elya expatiated.

"As much as I know Vera, if Wyatt had given her space and waited for her to participate, it would have taken minutes for her to react and then the spell would be completely broken. So I think what Wyatt did was completely necessary to protect himself from being humiliated in front of twenty something people." Filip spoke animatedly.

"Are you saying that, if the girl doesn't react you should impose yourself on her? "Elya fired back.

" That's not what I meant-

"Can you stop analyzing that kiss now? We are sitting right here and haven't turned deaf, yet." Wyatt spoke shutting the brewing discussions.

Oh please kiss me again!

Oh you desperate child, control your hormones.

I have been controlling myself ever since forever. Maybe what Bermuda shorts said was true, I never make a move. I should take Wyatt in my arms and kiss him senseless.

No, please. Let him initiate it or at least let him give you some kind of indication. Don't jump into it and make it awfully awkward than it already is.

Maybe you are right.

I am always right. What's with the maybe?

Okay, fine!

"Why did you stop the car?" I heard Filip asking.

"There is a police check post ahead."Ivane replied, his nearly bushy brows furrowed.

"What for? We are not crossing countries, are we?" Wyatt queried.

"No, but Kazbegi is very close to Russian borders so they check. Not to worry." Elya reassuringly smiled despite the beads of perspiration forming on her forehead.

Why is she sweating? A faint concern died in my head and I brushed it aside.

"I cannot imagine someone being this big of a fool!" I squawked in a room with three dull grey walls from which the paint had scraped off revealing a white base and the fourth side, a series of metal rods. Some might even call it a bloody cell or jail or the act of being behind bars.

"Can't argue with that." Filip spoke holding the bars and looking outside with the hope that some beautiful soul would bail us from this god forsaken place.

"Stop holding those bars, for hygiene's sake!" Wyatt cried.

"What? I am looking across the horizons so I see someone; that someone who shall rescue us from this detention at Her Majesty's Pleasure." Filip retorted back.

Wyatt stared at Filip's back with his features scrunched in bafflement for exactly 11.643 seconds before shrugging at the English phrase.

"Look, I am sorry for being too reckless, I should have done a background check on those three and investigated their car and themselves at gunpoint before I would have allowed you, my lady to travel with us." Wyatt retorted.

"You have gotten us in this god forsaken place and for a crime I didn't commit, you will get us out of here or I will pull your hair and bang your head against this grey wall and paint it red. It lacks color anyway. You have gotten my entire trip in shambles!" I bellowed.

"I got you nowhere; you are an adult woman who made the choice to come down with us. Nobody kidnapped you. And how should I have known they had drugs? They seemed pretty normal and nice people unlike you! You are the one who talks like a murderer and babbles at inappropriate times, you sure look like you are on drugs!" Wyatt responded with his index finger pointing at my nose.

"You! You..uh..You daft cow!" I yelled back.

"Guys, I can't take this screaming anymore. I am going through a harsh breakup here." Filip murmured.

"Agh Sod off!"

"Piss off!"

"Are you both speaking different versions of insult?" Filip joked.

"All three of you, did you have any idea about the drugs in the car?" A middle aged police officer asked with papers in hand.

"No! No, no, no, no!" I rambled pleadingly.

"Ma'am, we were only with them because we needed a lift till Kazbegi, we didn't know them personally by any chance." Wyatt sidelined my rambling.

"Okay, we can get this done quietly and easily if you all will sign on these papers claiming you have no relations with those convicted." She explained.

"Yes, yes, yes, sure!" I did it again.

"And we will be free to go just like that?" Filip questioned bug-eyed.

"Yes, with some charges to pay." She smiled.

"Alright, great!" Filip snatched the papers and signed.

Walking on the cobblestone road of the village, my wheeled bag got stuck and I went arse over tit.

"Help me out you plonkers! Stop laughing. Do you have any idea of the struggle I am going through pulling this rubbish uphill?" I scowled tired.

"The woman, who used to put that expensive perfume, combed her hair, put on lipstick and ironed her clothes with that mini iron before leaving is sitting on cobblestones, with wrinkled shirt and flying hair. Someone needs to take a picture!" Filip and Wyatt broke into fits of laughter and I couldn't scowl at two daft men laughing their hearts out.

"And the woman who would not have gotten fined more than twice spent about two hours of her dream trip behind the bars." Wyatt spoke amidst his laugh.

I could just sit there laughing with them at myself and thinking how this was absolutely not a part of my plan, how this wasn't how it meant to be but I love it the way it is now. I love how I am relaxing on cobblestones amidst the Caucasian peaks in a small town, how I am laughing at myself openly, how I argue with Wyatt, how I spent my time with drug addicts and then behind the bars, how he kissed me and how Filip is a tad bit nutter but I still like him very much. I felt truly happy after so long. The kind of happy that reverberates in our hearts, which brings tears in our eyes, aches the stomach and releases a ton of endorphin or serotonin or whatever and sets your brain right into its track. I was that happy in that one moment which wouldn't have lasted longer than a few minutes. This is still my dream trip and I love how it is taking me to a better place than I had planned for.

"Okay, okay. Stop making me the object of your amusement." I stood up brushing my bum and dragging my still in working condition wheeled suitcase forward.

The town stood atop a mountain and in my state of euphoria, I started towards the town square getting my damn wheeled suitcase stuck in one of the bigger cobblestone and falling flat on face.

"Darn these cobblestones! Darn this bloody suitcase!Darn my inability to walk without falling!Darn this world!" I screamed still laying flat.

Weren't you a little too happy some sixty seconds ago?

She slyly smiled. What were her issues with me? Was she best-friends with fate and karma and destiny and whatever force that keeps doing this to me all the time? Darn her too! Darn all of them!
