A Small Town Story

Chapter 1

Hello all my readers/fan! I have here for you another story! This one is different from all my others though. This one is a bit more...personal. This story is well the story of my life. I have had people ask me about my life and I thought ‘hey why not make a story out of it’.Now, some things will be made up such as some scenes, places and all character names. I hope that you will enjoy my new short story even though its a bit  different!(:

Hi! My name Taylor Gibson and I live in a small town in the middle of nowhere. Living in a small town like this has its perks but it also has its downfalls too. So, I am here to tell you what its like to live in a little place like Banklen. I am here to share my story.

Here goes nothing.

Chapter 1:

“Taylor come on it's time to go!”

I finished tying the laces of my black Vans and I grabbed my backpack. I walked out the door of my house and out to my moms car where I saw my younger brother and my mom.

It is currently 7:40a.m on a Tuesday morning which means time for school. School isn't too bad for me I just hate having to get up so early.

It took only five minutes for my mom to arrive at the high school that I attend at. Its the only high school in my town and it is quite small.

I tell my mom and brother goodbye before I step out of the car and walk up the concrete steps and into the main building of my school.

Wait. Before I go any farther I might need to tell you who I am. My name is Taylor Gibson, I am sixteen years old, and I am in tenth grade.

I live in a small town where the nicest store you have is Walmart. As I said it is small with only a population of not even 4,000 people and you known almost every single one of them.

Now, I am not complaining because you have some one the friendliest people ever living in this town. People who will help you out when you are in a hard time or when you need help on a project.

Its just not a good town to grow up in when you have big dreams.

Ok ok before I ramble on anymore and bore you to death, back to what I was telling you before.

I entered the halls and then made a sharp right and walked out into the commons area outside that everyone stood in before school starts. The place where I meet up with my group of friends every morning. That is my closest friends.

“Hello the people I call my friends!” I greeted them with a big smile.

My group of friends consisted of four other girls.Their names being Ashley, Zoe, Leah, &, Meagan. I am definitely closer to Zoe though.

I received “Hey Taylor” back as a took a seat at the stone table they were sitting at. I tuned into their conversation guessing that it would be about some hot guy.

One thing about there being a small population in my town is that there are a limited number of hot guys in my school. There are some though that definitely make up for the loss though.

“Yeah, they got back together again last night. Its a shame because she is no good for him. I mean I would totally be a better option for him.” I heard Zoe complain.

I rolled my eyes and laughed along with the rest of my group. Zoe is a bit uhh...boy crazy. After that we all talked about our weekend until the bell rang over head.

I walked to my first period which happened to be geometry. I took my usual seat by a girl Penny, who was a grade below me. She is really smart and it shows since she is in a sophomore class when she is only a freshman.

We chatted until the teacher walked in and started the daily lesson. About half way though the lesson I feel someones eyes on me. I glanced sideways only to meet the eyes of Kelsey.

The girl who hates my living guts.

The girl who got the guy I love.

The girl who ruined my life.

Everyone has an enemy right? Well, Kelsey is mine.

As I said before, she got the guy I love. It was his choice and he broke my heart. Yet, I still love him. Yeah pretty stupid right? Love is stupid.

As childish as it sounds, its part of my story. A big part.

Before I continue farther, lets have a flashback to the day I ruined everything between me and this guy.

It all started my freshman year…

Ok that is the end of this chapter! I known it is extremely short but I promise that the rest of the chapters will be longer!(:
