A Small Town Story

Chapter 6

“You guys are in a boat load of trouble right now I hope you realize that!”

I looked down at my feet and tried to hold back a laugh. I knew that now was definitely not the time to laugh.

“I mean a party! You left your brother and you Tyler left you sister here to go to a party!”

I looked up at my red faced mother.”At least we didn't leave them unattended.” It was true we did hire Nelson to babysit.

I quickly shut my mouth when my mother gave me the ‘look’.

Ok wait I think I am skipping ahead of myself. I probably need to explain what exactly happened and how Tyler’s mom as well as my mom found out about us going to the party.

*Three hours earlier*

After talking and uhh kissing with Aaron for a little while longer, we left his room,hand in hand I might add, and went back to the party seeing that he is one of the hosts.

As we turned the corner my line of vision just so happen to catch Tyler’s. I wanted to barf when I saw that Kelsey had he pressed up against the wall placing kisses along his neck. His eyes held my stare though that is until I broke the stare.

I couldn't handle it.

I quickly yanked Aaron by the arm and went towards the kitchen, a place I have been trying to avoid.

We entered the large room and I was instantly surrounded by people and red solo cups. I cringed at the smell around. I let go of Aaron's hand and continued my quest. It wasn't long before I found what I was looking for.

I picked up the red solo cup and looked inside. The brown liquid sloshed against the plastic side. I lifted the cup to my lips and was about to take a sip when it was snatched out of my hands. I snapped my head up to see who would dare do that when I came face to face with Tyler.

I glared up at him and tried to take the cup back.

“Taylor, are you stupid?” He yelled at me as he held the cup up high so that I couldn't reach it.

I growled at him and jumped. “Just give it back and go back to making out with your girlfriend.”

Once the words left my mouth a smirk grew on Tyler's face. “Oh so that's what this is all about. I should have guessed.”

This only made me more mad. “Shut up. You know nothing Tyler.” I growled out.

This only seemed to amuse him more. “Really? Well, I KNOW that you like me, I KNOW that you saw Kelsey and me making out, I KNOW that you are jealous and I KNOW that you were going to try and get drunk. I know a lot more than you think babe.”

I was fuming by now. I took a step closer to him and yelled at him in a low and deadly tone. “How dare you say things like that. Yeah maybe I do but you showed me how you felt. I was not jelious of Kelsey why would I be? I am twice the person she is! Oh and yeah maybe I was but that is not your choice and I have the right to do so. Now, I am sick of this party so I am leaving and since you rode with me, either you are coming now or I am leaving you.”

Then I turned on my heels and stormed off.

I found Zoe sitting on the couch talking with Matt. I walked over to her and told her that I was leaving.

“Well, I think that I am actually going to stay with Matt tonight.” She told me quietly as a blush covered her face.

I big grin grew on my face. “Awe!” I exclaimed and a few people turned to me and gave me a weird look.
