Chap 10

I sat there in the car taking in the smell of my mate. I uncurled myself and sat in his seat just sniffing the chair back. I was so engrossed in my mini make out session with the chair I failed to notice my mate staring at me through the glass with an amused look on his face.

If things just couldn't get more embarrassing? I blushed like crazy and saddled back over to my seat.

"Can't get enough of me can you? "

" I was just checking for lint. " I lied shamelessly.

" Sure, sure you were princess. "

He handed me a paper bag from the store he went into. When I looked inside there was a bra and a checkered shirt. They looked about my size. When I looked up he was the one blushing.

" I guessed your sizes, they should fit. I'll leave you to get changed. "

With that he closed the door and stood a few feet away on guard. He was looking around on alert for any suspicious activity. Bless his heart.

" You need to take your prenatal vitamins. " my wolf whispered inside my head.

I sat there processing her words but not really hearing her. I then dropped the blanket around me and put my hands on my stomach. It's so weird thinking I have a life growing inside me. Even though I hate what that bastard did to me I can never hate this baby. She is part of me, I can't throw her away.

I shook off my ominous thoughts and scrabbled into the clothes before Xerxes came back. I put the window down and told him I was finished.

He walked over and re-entered the car. He put it in reverse and we started to make our way out of the town.

" I think you should take me home now. Your the future King and all but my parents must be worried about me. "

# No problem princess, anything you want. Besides I think we had enough excitement for one day. "

We both laughed at that. We both mind linked our separate security details and they both fell back into place. I reached over the console and took my mate's free hand into mine. I rubbed my cheek against his hand. My wolf loved nothing better as she was sighing in content at our close proximity.

I heard my mate's breathing change to a fast rhythmic pace, i could feel the change in my eyes to a glow of my wolf. I began to feel his pulse with blood pumping fast through his veins my scent began to travel towards him in a drug inducing spell that had his wolf pushing to the forefront.

" If you don't want me to mark and mate you now I suggest you rein in your hormones. I'm sure you don't want any of our guards to witness me taking you raw at the side of the truck? "

My wolf got even more turned on and yanked up her hormones ten notches. She began to coo in appreciation at the words her mate was spewing. Me on the other hand had enough sense to let go of his hand and put the windows down.

I don't even know why my wolf was behaving like a horny slut all of a sudden.

" It's the pregnancy hormones. It ramps up our sex drive. Don't worry I have the baby's smelled masked so he doesn't know yet. " my wolf supplied.

No wonder she was behaving so ridiculous. Just last night I was running and screaming from him now I'm dying his touch geez bipolar much?

" I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me. " I looked over to him.

" That's ok princess, we're mates it tends to happen. Come on let's get you to your parents. "

We drove for about half an hour more before we entered my community. People began walking out of their houses heading towards the pack house to probably see the prince and I.

" Do you think we can sneak in Xerxes? I feel like I'm going to be on exhibit here. "

He only chuckled and proceeded to pull up alongside our security detail in front of the pack house. He got out and stepped around my side to open the door me.

I smiled sweetly and took his outstretched hand to go greet my parents who were waiting for us.

They patiently waited for us at the foot of the stairs until my mother couldn't hold it in any longer and ran to meet me half the way. She embraced me in a warm hug and had tears running down her face.

I let go of Xerxes hand and fully hugged her. It felt great to be hugged like this, I quickly let go of her and went to my dad who also came down the path after my mother. I gave him a brief embrace before I shrunk back to my mate's side.

I did not want to but I sought out Ethan's scent in the crowd to see if he was here. I exhaled with relief not scenting him in the crowd.

" I'm so glad your home baby, and proud of you. " my mom gushed.

My Dad just kept smiling and trying not to look Prince Xerxes in the eye. If he did that would be a challenge to his Alpha wolf and they would fight to the death to dominate each other.

" Let's take this inside Junie, your embarrassing the girl. " my Dad exclaimed.

" I am not! "

She turned to me and looped her arm with mine and began guiding us towards the house. " We have a lot to discuss my little wolf. Come let's have some tea before you elope with your mate. "

I swear sometimes my mother behaves like a teenager. Now that I found my mate it's gonna be even worse.

*palmface* moment.

As we entered the house I was thrown to the floor in a death hug by no other than jessica herself.

" I am so glad your home, I was so bored without you. And you didn't even call your best friend and tell her how it went with Mr. Hunky.

Before I could tell her he was right behind me he stepped through the door with all his delicious sexiness.

From my position on the floor I saw his jean clad legs standing above me.

" Do you mean me? " he smiled his dazzling smile. Jessa's eyes grew round and big at the sight of my mate. He was even taller than my dad and that's saying something.

She scrambled off of me and tried to compose herself to no avail. I snickered at her being all ruffled.

Before she could even answer the person I dreaded most was walking down the stairs towards me. No wonder I didn't smell him he was in the house already.

My mate scooped me up and snuggled his nose into my neck. Oh my, that felt so good. I was so wrapped up in my mate's ministrations I momentarily forgot Ethan a few feet away.

" So Bira, going to introduce us or what? " Ethan spoke.

I stiffened in my mate's arm and signalled for him to put me down.

He stared into my eyes and reluctantly put me down. The look he gave me was a warning of a talk later on. I knew we had to have that discussion with my freak outs but not now.

It's too soon to lose him.

I put on the most fake smile ever and turned to face everyone in the room.
