Chap 6

Before I gave myself away I used my normal heightened senses so that's why it was a shock when I found that I didn't have time to even call for help. I was dragged into the alley behind the store. When we emerged on the other side of the alley way I was thrown into the back of a waiting vehicle. A blindfold was placed across my eyes so I wouldn't be able to see who my kidnappers were.

Suddenly the car jerked to a stop. I tried to mind link Dro but was unsuccessful. My vision became hazy and I couldn't focus. Before blacking out all I could hear were snarls and ripping of fabric. I hope someone came to my rescue..................................

Green lush grass and daisies covered the field I was in. "Where the hell am I?" I thought. I tried recalling what happened to me before i ended up in this strange place but couldn't recall. I got up out of the grass and began exploring the place. There were lots of butterflies of varying shapes, sizes and colours. I wish I could stay here forever. The sky started to change colour when I heard a voice call to me along the wind.

It was so soft I was sure I was imagining things. Nut then I heard it a little louder this time "Biraaaaaaaaaaa........................."

I didn't know where it was coming from, it sounded like the voice was all around me.

"Where are you?" I asked.

"Come to me child.................." the voice whispered.

I began walking forward in the direction I thought it was coming from. Up ahead was a door with a diamond handle. I began reaching towards it when I was suddenly tackled to the ground.

"Don't ever listen to it, it feeds on your weaknesses."

I turned my head from my position on the ground to see one of the most beautiful specimens that has ever graced the earth. Green eyes were boring into mine quite seriously i might add. What the hell is wrong with me? I shouldn't be checking anyone out for that matter. "Who are you?" I asked him.

He ignored my question and kept looking at me quizzically. He got up from his position on the floor and came towards my face. He outstretched his hand as if he was going to touch my face but then pulled back his hand. "We will meet again" he said.

"She's waking up!!!!! Call the nurse" I tried to stay asleep but was unsuccessful. I felt a hand holding mine and opened my eyes to see Dro looking at me and smiling.

I just kept looking at him trying to remember what happened but couldn't.

"Don't try to speak yet. The Doctor will come and explain what happened OK." he said. I just shook my head yes.

He sat down on the chair next to my bed and began playing with my hair and humming me an unfamiliar tune. My wolf was liking it and she began to purr in my head. Even though I was scared I laughed at her silly behavior.

I can't help it, no one has touched us with such care besides our parents she thought to me.........

I felt bad for her just remembering him and my laughter halted immediately. Dro was looking at me funny but didn't comment on my behavior.

The doctor came in and changed the bandage on my arm.

"Can I speak to Ms. Kabira alone please.? " the pack doctor asked. Dro looked at me as if to ask me if it was okay if he left me with the doctor alone if i would be all right. I nodded my head at him.

When he left the doctor came around to the side of the bed Dro was just occupying. He didn't say anything for a long time, we just sat there just looking at him and him looking at me.
