Chap 2

I quickly began to think of ways to escape but decided against them all and just face her. It made no sense to run eventually I'll keep meeting up with her, we both go to the same school for the love of God. " Hey Jessa, you good?" I reach into my locker and pull out my books for the next class. I see her from the corner of my eye trying to access the situation at hand. " I tried calling you the whole of this weekend, sending messages even and you ignored me. I even resorted to asking your pig of a brother for answers to what's up with you. Did I do something wrong at the party? We've never not shared anything with each other Bira..........." she finally said. I turned in her direction and replied " It's nothing you did Jessa, I.......................I just, ...................Um.............. I..I...I..............." Stopping mid sentence I see Ethan heading in our direction. I quickly mumble some nonsense to Jessa and rush to class. 

I grab a seat at the front of class. That way I won't have to answer anyone who tries to talk to me.

Meanwhile in the hallway.......

Ethan approaches Jessa. " Hey babe you good? " He kisses her full on the mouth possessively. Jessa kisses him back but then pulls away. She scrunches up her eyes when she's worried about something. " I just saw Bira and she doesn't seem like herself. I tried talking to her but she kind of just ran off. Have you found out why she's been acting so weird? "

"If I did babe you'd be the first to know. I know you two are close. Whatever it is she'll talk to you when she's ready" In hearing that Jessa's worry lines smooth out and she says goodbye to her boyfriend and hurries along in the direction of Bira to class.

Class started with Jessa rushing in just before the bell. I watched her look at me confused for sitting at the front of class. She brushed it off and took her seat in the middle where we would normally sit.

Sitting in Biology class I get a telepathic message from my father the Alpha to meet him directly after school. We have a visiting Pack arriving and I am to be there to help greet them. 

I linked a conformation message and then blocked him out. 

The classes passed by in a blur,and thankfully there weren't anymore confrontations. I sent Jessa a text before she came to find me that I'll be leaving to go directly home so I won't be able to meet up with her.

As the bell rang for last class I ran to my car and drove home like the devil was on my heels. I broke about fifty road rules but who cares.

I went directly to my room and changed before heading downstairs to help my mother with any last minute preparations. The pack is supposed to arrive at 5:00 pm so we had approximately an hour and a half. I help with finishing prepare the meal and cleaning the guest area of the house. I may be an Alpha's daughter but I am not a slacker. Everyone chips in around here.

My Dad walked in and hugged me just as I finished placing the last vase of azalea flowers. " You good kiddo? " He asked. " Always Dad " I replied with a fake smile. Before he could delve further we were alerted by our scouts at the entrance of our lands that the visiting pack Cynbel had arrived. 

The welcoming commitee went to the lounge area to await their arrival. I took a seat on the single sofa. I wasn't really paying attention to the going ons around me so when my father called my name I was startled to say the least. " They're here sweetheart, stand "

When the Alpha of Cynbel stepped into the room, I greeted him along with his entourage. He arrived with his third in command and five bodyguards. He left his Luna and second in charge back at their lands. After introductions and everyone was served with something to drink light chatter ensued. I excused myself since I wouldn't be needed for anything else at the moment. I stepped through the back door of the house and stepped in to forest. I loved the smells and sounds of nature. My wolf was itching for a run, making sure I wasn't seen or heard I stripped and covered my tracks. My wolf emerged in her glorious auburn colour on all fours. I began to race through the forest with the wind whipping through my fur.

Loosing track of time, when I looked up to the sky I noticed night had long fallen. My run felt so good, plus I needed some alone time to gather my thoughts.

Stepping through the woods to the back door I silently and quickly used the ladder next to the door to slip through my bedroom window. When I turned around I was grabbed and spun around to face no other than Ethan. He kissed with such force I was left breathless for a moment. I pushed him off in shock and just touched my lips ever so gently. O felt like throwing up.

" What the hell is wrong with you? " I whisper shouted. " You have a MATE for crying out loud, my best friend in case you forgot."

He walked up to me ever so slowly and whispered in my ear " Whatever I want I get, especially future Alpha of Onyx, you should know that by now Bira. And I've always wanted you so I'm gonna have you over and over again until you agree willingly or forcefully. I'll have fun either way. Your choice. " 

I stood there in shock unbelieving. He slipped through my bedroom window and was gone. 

I stood there for five or even ten minutes I don't know it could have been hours before I simply slipped into bed and hoped when I woke up this would all be a horrible dream of nightmares never to become my reality.
