Chap 5

When Leandro and I arrived at my place we headed to my den to crash. " Who the hell were those guys back there? " Dro just kept looking at me not saying anything. Just then my mom and Dad stepped into the den along with a few pack guards. As soon as my mother's eye landed on me she engulfed me in her warm embrace. I was shaking a little after our adreanaline rush. "Are you ok hunny? " " I'm ok mom. "

" These four men will be your new sets of tails. They will be with you at all times until they are no longer needed. I don't want anything to happen to you with these new threats that are surfacing. I'll do whatever it takes to protect you and this pack from danger. " My father's deep voice boomed. He then gave out a list of precautions to my bodyguards that they have to take in order to ensure my safety.

When he finished addressing us a half hour later he kissed me on my forehead, told mee he loved me then he and my mother went to his office.

I didn't mention to him about the guys we saw in the woods for fear of me being in total lockdown. Thank goodness Dro didn't either. He must of sensed my stare because he looked over at me and winked.

I told him it's best we stayed in tonight. He agreed.

We went up to my room  so I could do my homework and take a shower. When I finished I laid on my bed next to him.

" How are things back at home? "

" It's great. I wish you could of come back with me and spend some time. But I know you love your pack to much to part with it yet. " he smirked at me.

Tonight was an Ethan free night because he had practice today. We talked till  late hours until i fell asleep. I couldn't be sure but I think Leandro was gently stroking my face and talking to himself so softly even my enhanced hearing wouldn't pick it up. Hmmmmm I could of been mistaken.

The next day at school there was a lot of kids crying and whispering to themselves. I met Jessa at my  locker looking shaken up. " Did you hear the news? " I shook my head no. " Christie, from Chemistry, was found slaughtered this morning. The humans think she got involved in a bear attack or whatever. Shit Bira, I'm scared. "

I hugged a crying Jessa to me. She was always the stronger of us. I hated seeing my best friend cry.

Something strange was going on abd it may be coming for me next.

Christie was the Beta of a neighbouring pack's daughter. The fight was eventually gonna reach us.

During gym which I had with Jessa and unfortunately Ethan, I saw Leandro causually stroll in. To say I was surprised was an understatement.
He came up to me and gave me huge hug infront of the entire class including the teacher. Mr. Hendrix cleared his throat to get our attention. We both turned to face his direction. " Sorry sir. " I blushed furiously and pulled away from Dro. He reached into his pocket and withdrew a note that he handed to my teacher. Whatever Mr. Hendrix read he stuffed the note in his pocket, shook his head of approval at Leandro then continued with class. "What was all that about? " I mind linked with Leandro. He replied that he'd explain it to me later.

I heard a growl so I turned around to see Ethan clenching and unclenching his fist and giving Dro a death glare.
Jessa was doing her exercise wuth another girl from gym so she didn't notice the strained situation. I turned back towards Dro and linked him " Are you staying for class then? " My palms started to get a little sweaty. I smelt Ethan walking towards us and tried to leave but I ended up tripping on the floor. Dro caught me befire I fell. The air felt like it was being sucked out of the room and my vision became blurry. I hated having panic attacks infront of other people. Ethan grabbed me out of Leandro's arm and picked me up. " I'm gonna taka her to the nurse Elsie's station she'll know how to help her. " He didn't even wait for approval before he fled the gym with me in tow. I was even more distressed now. He walked us to a nearby supply closet and locked us inside. My wolf was pacung the corners of my mind.

" Please Ethan-n....... I-I-I don't........ wanna get into any-y trouble. " Shut up! " he whisper shouted. I whimpered. He began to sniff along my neck and play with my hair. I felt sick to my stomach.

I wanna see you tonight Bira, but there are so many guards at your house. Maybe i'll come see your brother and sneak over to your room. Won't you like that? Huh? "
" I have to go dress shopping with Jessa today so-o I won't b-b-be home till late. "
He grabbed me to him and roughly kissed me. I wanted to spit in his face but I didn't because there will be consequences. He released me then picked me up bridal style and carried me to nurse Elsie. I could tell he was angry by the gleam in his eyes.

I stayed till the school bell called and went to meet Jessa by my car. Leandro would ride alongside us and my bodyguards plus her one will flank us throuh the woods in wolf form.

We sped out of the school parking lot like we were being chased by hellhounds. I turned my music up and me and Jessa sang at the top of lungs to Bang Bang by Jessie J. We laughed a lot on our trip to the shopping plaza.

Half hour later we pulled up and parked. We bought everything from shoes to our handbags to make - up. And hour had passed since we bagan our assaults on the shops and still haven't found my dress yet.

We were going to eat when I spotted the most beautiful speciman of cloth. Leandro and Jessa didn't see me walk away. I walked into the shop and spotted a little old lady. She smiled at me. " Can I help you young lady? " " Can I have a look at the dress in the show window please? " Sure thing hunny. What size? "  " Size four please. " When she returned she led me to the dressing room. It was the perfect thing for the ball. I paid for it and exited the store. Before I could leave a shadow fell across my path. In looking up I was being blocked by a huge burly guy. He smelt like a rouge. Before I could scream he put a dirty hand across my mouth and muffled it.
