Alex was downstairs talking to Casey. I was looking in the mirror, but it felt more like the mirror was staring at me.
I pulled at my now too lengthy blonde hair, and my horrid sea blue eyes. I contemplated: Back to the emerald beauty Daley "loved" or stay the real Aisly who is a twin to Casey Hart...
"Aisly... what are you doing?" Alex spoke standing in the doorway, her suddenly loud voice in the silence of the room causing me to jump.
"Oh.. you startled me!" I said wide eyed.
"Wassup, looked like you were doing some hard thinking.." Alex said.
"I miss my red hair and contacts, but Daley threw away my contacts... he said he wanted to wake up to the real me every morning..." I explained to Alex.
"This I know.... but the real you is the you that you feel more comfortable as..." Alex replied.
"Do you think that??" I asked.
"yes." Alex said. "I love you either way, I fell for your looks first, then your personality, and now that you've changed, I still love you. changing for someone else is a mistake. Change for yourself... other peoples opinions shouldn't matter."
"See this is why I love you! You give the best advice, you're sweet, honest, smart and you love me." I said.
"That I do..." Alex smiled.
"You're so beautiful." I said without thinking.
"Well so are you my dear... very.." Alex told me.
"I use to be so jealous of you. All the guys wanted you... and I was just the girl with messy hair and weird clothes." I said. "And if it wasn't for you I would be the same, and never would have met Daley.."
"Why do you think you caught My eye? You had such long, wavy red hair and you had the cutest pocohantas moccasins on with your brown skinnies. You looked adorable. You even turned around and I seen your sparkly green eyes and adorable freckles... to be honest, I must have watched you confused over that section for a good ten minutes." Alex said.
"Oh my gosh I remember that, and my green t shirt with the rainbow striped cardigan. that was one of my favorite outfits cause my Foster parents allowed me to get a summer job for a while, and I bought that outfit on my own." I said embarrassed. "But I must have looked like a fool, wearing an outfit from high-school..."
"You were still young enough to wear it though! It was adorable." Alex said.
"You really think so?" I said.
"yeah, you pulled it off well." Alex said.
"thanks Alex..." I smirked.
Alex grabbed my hand and pulled me so close that only a short chapter book could be tightly squeezed between us.
She wiped a hair out of my face and stroked my cheek with her thumb, still keeping me close with her other hand.
"You're so beautiful... And your skin is baby smooth. Your eyes are like the sea, and your lips are as pink as a rose." She stared at my lips and slowly began to bite her own.
I put my hand on her neck and stared into her hazelnut eyes.
I hugged her tightly and whispered "Your eyes are like nutella." I giggled and rubbed my cheek on hers. I went back to staring her down and I put my arms around her neck. "I know you already know... but you are the most beautiful girl in the world. I have told you so often, even when we first met. You are probably the only girl I will ever be with. I couldn't say the same to Daley" I said.
