As I pulled into the hospital parking lot, I sighed and looked over my shoulder to the empty passenger seat.
I took my keys out of the ignition and sat there for a second.
A lot was happening at once and i didnt know what to think.
Well one things for sure: I love Alex.
Im not possitive how I feel about Daley leaving. Im definately heartbroken, but I feel like he was keeping me from my real love. I think I've always been meant to be with Alex, and thats who I was going to die in love with.
Vincent is just a friend. And I had to tell him that.
After I had finished my thinking, I began my walk into the building. I checked in and got my visitors pass from the nurse working at the Desk. She told me Vincent was on level 3, room 254 in the C wing.
I took the C elevator to the third floor, and followed the diagrams explaining which way the section of rooms where Vincent was.
I knocked on the door, and patiently waited for a reply.
"Come in" Vincent called muffled by the door.
I opened the door and walked into the room.
"Aisly! You'll never guess who I just seen!" Vincent said trying to be excited even though he was obviously in immense pain.
"Who?" I said very intrigued to hear his answer.
"Why, Agent Daley! I would have expected you to see him on your way!" Vincent said.
"Hmm, must have come from a different wing than me." I said. "How you feeling? You look much better! Your skin now has a much healthier pigment!"
"I'm still in pain. The docters are doing X-rays later to see if I've broken any bones. The scalpel severed an artery, I was lucky to have so many experienced workers around. I was in so much shock I couldn't do anything to help myself." Vincent explained.
"I'm glad we were there too, it would have been very bad to lose a good friend, and boss. It was such a bummer that I didn't get to meet the new agent!" I said.
"Yes, such a shame. Ian would probably love to introduce her to you and Alex." Vincent said.
"Her? The new agent is a woman. Splendid. It should be nice to have another female mind around the lab." I said.
"She is actually a lot like you." Vincent smiled. "The three of you should get a long well, and hopefully you and Alex will just as welcoming once you meet her."
"I have faith that she will show to be quite likeable." I said. "Well, I just wanted to check in on you and see how you were doing."
"Ah yes thank you, its nice to see you." Vincent said.
"You too, have a good night!" I said.
"I will, and Aisly,"
"Yes?"
"You look beautiful tonight," Vincent said.
"Thank you." I said rushing out of the room.
I walked back to the elevators, while scratching my head, I should have told him. He deserves to know that I'm with Alex and that I don't like him that way.
The elevator opened and as I walked in I bumped into something and fell to the floor.
The something wasn't so much something as... someone.
"I'm sorry, let me help you up." The someone with a familiar voice spoke.
I gave him my hand and stood up.
