Phil Lester

"This is the last time we'll move." My mum says to me. She holds my hand, although I didn't want to hold it.

I didn't say anything, and walked out of the car. I looked at the wind. It had a sound, a creepy type. I knew I was going to hate this new area.

"Mum, why would you choose an area like this?" I said, in tone of disappointment.
She shut the door and walked next to me. We both were looking at the area. It was not a pretty sight. It looked like it had been abandoned and rusty.

"Phil, this is not what I saw on the picture." She said as disappointed as me.

She pulls out her phone and a shock is shown in her face.
"What's the matter?" I ask her.
"Huh." She opens a picture. "Would you look at this."
She puts the phone to my face. I look at a well managed area. It is filled with green grass and bright homes, set in the spring time. Then I looked at the town and back to the phone.

As curious as I was, I looked down at the italicized words.
This page was updated on 2000.

I was extremely upset. The words were pretty big. I slapped my face with my palm.
"What is it, love?" Mum says.
With my pale, freezing finger, I point to where the words I read are. She puts her hand over her mouth.
"Mum.." I say, rolling my eyes. "That was sixteen years ago."

She hugs me tight and we both end up grabbing some of our bags. We were going to live in a flat, where we would see the town. I hoped there was a town still left.
I carry the brown heavy bags to the room. The flat was silent. It was subtle and nothing seemed to happen. No people. My heart started beating, as i feared this would be an abandoned apartment. I shivered.

I walked alone up the white stairs. Once I barely reached the top, the surface had a peel on the wooden floor. This made the strip of the wood peel off. And as clumsy as i can get, I slipped with the heavy bags on top of me.
The sound was incredibly loud. It was noticeable, and right away i ran up the stairs hoping I'd cause no trouble.

Then I found myself bumped into somebody. Right away i almost pissed in my pants.
Great job, Phil. You're dead meat.
I thought to myself.

I didn't want to turn around. I was too scared to see who was in front of me. I hoped it was an old lady who didn't mind me.

Whoever was behind me was breathing heavily, almost like a way of anger. The person did not speak. I slightly turn around.
It was a boy. He looked tougher than me. His hair was a mess. He had a fringe that looked like lion mane. My mouth was wide open.

He was handsome. He looked tougher than me. He was wearing all black. He had a lopsided smile on his face.

Without caution, the boy pushed me down the steps. I fell to my back. Everything hurt, I never had this happen to me before. My sensitive emotions start to kick in. I felt my eyes come to a cry.

I didn't want to look at the boy. I wanted my mum to come. I was acting all babylike, but she would come to my need whenever I was little. Now she wasn't here, and I was now 16. I was grown up and I still needed her.

"Stay out of our place." The boy muttered. It took me time to here what he said. I didn't know what to feel.
