"I can't believe summer is almost over" Pony groaned dramatically flopping down on the couch so his head was in my lap.
"Tell me about it" I replied.
Dallas and Two-bit walked in the house just as I said that. "Tell me about what?" Two-bit said trying to join in our conversation.
"That summer is almost over, which means school is on its way and fast" Ponyboy answered.
"Yes, but that means its our last year of school" I then looked at Two-bit who is still a sophomore at the age of 18 "Well for me and you anyway" I said which made Pony laugh.
I shoved Pony off me so I could get up and go talk to Dally who just walked outside. I went out the door to find him and Johnny having a smoke. I walked up behind Dal and took the fag right out of his hand and started to smoke it. He looked almost shocked at first but when he saw me he just gave me the bird.
"Really Syd, why couldn't you get one of your own?" He questioned taking out another one.
"I lost all mine to Soda in poker" I said taking a long drag. Johnny was on the verge of laughing. "And Sodapop don't even smoke that much"I said looking down and kicking a rock. Dal and Johnny were now laughing.
"It's not funny" I said sternly.
"Why don't you just buy a new pack dummy" Johnny questioned.
I made eye contact with him and said "Darry told me if I lost all of them then I couldn't buy a pack for a week". This just made them laugh even louder. I stomped out the cig and walked inside huffing. "Wait Syd, come back we were just playing" Dally said between laughs. I turned around and flipped him off.
I suddenly bumped into Steve who knocked me down. "Sorry kid" he said looking down at me offering a hand to help me up. I gladly took it and pulled him down with me. Me and him were soon wrestling on the floor waiting for Soda to get done getting ready for work. Just as I was about to get the upper hand Dar had to ruin it.
"Steve get off my little sister, and Sydney get off the kid he has work and don't need to be hurt" I got off Steve and saluted Darry and yelled "Yes Sir". He have me a dirty look and ruffled my hair. "I'll be back later, don't do anything stupid" he yelled going out to his truck with Soda and Steve not too far behind.
I walked into the kitchen to get some food when I bumped into Johnny and fell again. "God what is with me today" I whispered out loud. "I'm so sorry" Johnny said helping me up. Once we I was up we were so close our noses were almost touching. My breathing hitched as he bit his lip looking down at my lips. I thought we were going to kiss but then Ponyboy walked in just in time. I looked over and saw Johnny looking disappointed.
"Hey ya'll want to go the the park" Pony questioned cutting the awkward silence.
"Yea" Me and Johnny said at the same time.
Fast Forward To The Park
Sydney's P.O.V
When we made it to the park we started to throw a football around. Dally thought it would be funny to throw it way above my head. So I had to run to go get it. When I was looking for the ball I wasn't paying attention to were I was going and ran into someone...AGAIN!
"Wow, today is just not my day" I said chuckling to myself.
"I guess I wasn't looking where I going" the other voice spoke and stretched out to help me up. I looked to see a really pretty pair of blue eyes staring into my brown ones. I took the mans hand and dusted off my jeans. The boy in front of me looked about my age and he was very handsome. He was definitely a greaser he had a cancer stick hanging out his mouth and tattoos covering his arms.

"I'm Alex Wilson" He said putting out his hand again this time for me to shake it.
I took his hand and shook it "I'm Sydney Curtis".
"A pretty name for a very pretty girl" He said giving me a sweet smile making me blush.
Johnny's P.O.V
I saw Sydney talking to some boy and I got really jealous. I know we aren't dating anymore but I still love her. I saw her blush and thats what really set me off.
"HEY SYDNEY, HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET A BALL" I yelled which made her and that boy look at me. I saw them say a couple more things to each other and then her start walking back to us.
Alex's P.O.V (Yayyy new point of view!!!!)
I bumped into the most beautiful girl. I was so mesmerized by her beauty that I had to be snapped out by some boy yelling for Sydney.
"HEY SYDNEY, HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET A BALL" He yelled glaring at me. I think it snapped her out of a trance too because she jumped when she heard him.
"Sorry that's my friend Johnny and Dally. And then my brother Ponyboy" She said looking me in the eyes. I just nodded. She picked up the ball and said "Well I better be getting back". She almost looked disappointed walking away so I stopped her.
"Hey, do you maybe want to hang out some time Sydney?"
"I would love to Alex" She answered mimicking my voice. I chuckled and so did she.
"So how bout i pick you up at your house around 6?" I asked.
"Of course" she said taking my hand and writing down her address on my hand "I'll see you Friday" She winked and then left.
"Bye" I said under my breath. I mentally high fived myself and walked away.
