I was in the hospital cafeteria with my dad while Alevia was in the room with my mom. I got some coffee for my dad and I. I went to the table where he was sitting and pulled out my book (harry potter and the cursed child),my phone, and headphones from my book bag. I plugged in my phone and went to my "ineedhelp™" playlist, and put it on shuffle. Mayday Parade began to play.

"Tonight is the one thing left

I hummed along, took a sip of my coffee, and began reading.

About after 20 minutes, I noticed that my dad began to stare at me and he started to tear up. I looked up and took off my headphones. "Papi que tienes? (dad whats wrong?)" I ask worriedly. "Mijita, ya tienes 18 años, y ay algo que te tengo que decir. (Sweetie, you're 18 years old now and there's something i have to tell you.)" he says as his eyes tear up more. "Que paso? (what's wrong?)" I ask frightened.
"Mija, la razón porque nunca estoy en la casa es porque yo tengo otra familia. Después que yo me casé con tu mama tenia otra familia. Yo sé que crees que yo estaba con otras mujeres pero no. (Honey, the reason I'm never home is because I have another family. Before I married your mother, I had another family. I know you thought that I had affairs with other women but no.)" he says. I can't believe it. How can he have another family? "Si tienes otra familia entonces porqué cada vez que te llamó, siempre se escucha otra señora? (Well if you have another family, then how come every time I call you it sounds like a different woman every time?)" I ask. (Porque cada vez que me llamas, estoy en el trabajo, o en la casa de mi otra familia. Y cuando estoy en el trabajo, le pregunto a unas de mis compañeras del trabajo que levanten el teléfono para mi, I luego que me pasen a ti. Y si tengo un trabajo no creas que no, no me paso todo el tiempo apostando dinero como tu, tu mama, y tu hermana creen. Trabajo en una estación de radio como vendedor.Y también nunca me llamas, a menos que, es una emergencia, y esto es una emergencia. (Because every time you call me I'm either at work, or at my other family's home. And when I'm at work, I usually ask one of my co-workers to pick up the phone for me. And yes I have a job, don't think that I don't, I don't spend all my time gambling for money like you, your mother, and your sister think. I work in a radio station in the sales department. And also you never call me unless it's an emergency, and this is an emergency.)" he says. My eyes begin to tear up. "PERO PORQUE NOS MENTIRAS ASI? (BUT WHY WOULD YOU LIE TO US LIKE THAT?)" I yell. Everyone in the cafeteria turns to look at me. I'm full on crying by now. My dad looks at me and began to cry. A few seconds later get a text from Alevia.
