Now as both Trinty and Harry waited impatiently for something to happen, perhaps we should visit Grace, Trinity's mom. Is she aware of all that is going on?

     The answer is yes.

Grace and Craig were under the impression Trinity had gone to stay over at the Style's place with Harry. Of course that wasn't the truth. It was only when they recieved a call from the emergency room the next day that they were informed.

Harry had brought Trinity to the hospital and they had taken her in without guardian consent solely because of the depth of the cuts and the amount of blood she had lost, but when it came time to admit her, which they did, a phone call had to be made.

When Craig had answered the phone and this was what he heard, he was furious. As soon as the phone was hung up, he became furious and started throwing things around. No he wasn't worried about his daughter though as most dads would be; he was worried she'd tell them all about what had happened over the years. Or lie and even make it worse.

He couldn't afford to go to prison.

He had never layed a hand on that girl and this he could prove but he had layed hands on Grace. Grace in fact still had bruises on her body she had to hide with make up. He could not take this risk.

As he flipped around, and was about to leave, Grace crossed his path. She didn't mean to but she did and he was alread furious. He kicked her once in the gut and yelled, "That's what you get for being a bad mother!"

He kicked her again once she was on the ground and told her, " If you wouldn't scream when I do this she wouldn't have known and been hurt and done this!"

Of course none of that really made any sense but Craig was a manipulative guy and he had Grace believing him in a minute. Grace began to question her parenting skills. Was she really that bad of a mother?

The answer was yes and no. Yes because she had kept her daughter around someone so scarring for all these years. He was Trinity's bilogical dad though so it wasn't like she had brought in a step dad and took his side over her own daughters. No because she truly loved her daughter with all her heart and would do whatever she could to povide.

Grace was just scared and weak much like Trinity. She didn't know what to do. She was scared to get help.

Scared for both of their lives.

After Craig had beat her up and down and told her off this way and that, he left to go to see Trinity. Grace wanted so badly to go; to make sure he didn't hurt or scare Trinity especially at this time. But. She couldn't. She was on the ground in a swelled brusied bleeding pile.

It was about an hour later when the phone rang. Grace crawled her way to it. She didn't know what to expect now. She was infact scared.

What if Craig had hurt Trinity? What if Trinity had hurt herself?

Grace was a tad bit mad at Harry if she could admit it. She knew that he was a genuinely good boy, man, whatever but she still believed he should have told at least her. I guess he was worried about Craig. Grace knew Harry knew. Trinity had told her but just not how much.

This made Grace second think her previous opinion and decide the boy made a good decision. He had saved her daughter and saved himself in a round about way.

When a voice finally spoke on the phobe it was not what she was expexting. A deep, grufd, serious voice asked for her and she replied that they were speaking to her. It was then that she was informed she was speaking to the police and her husband had caused a scene at the hospital.

She was told he was under arrest but that before they had gotten to him he had harmed one young man somewhat. And those were the only charges. They would release him in the morning until his court date.

Grace had been so excited, barely holding back tears of joy until she heard he would be released in the morning. He never needed to be released ever to see the sunlight again in her opinion. But she was weak. Her voice caught in her throat. She looked at her bruised covered body and even that couldn't convince her.

The line was about to go dead when her mind flashed her a picture of ten year old Trinity in the corner crying. Her poor baby. She was gaining courage. She could keep him behind bars forever. She would do it for her daughter but it would benefit them both.

And with a deep breath, she stopped the cop from hanging up and began a story six years in the making.
