*Grace*

"Is there anything else you would like to tell us?" the officer sitting on her couch asked in an awkward yet somehow professional matter. Officer Reed.

Grace thought a moment before shaking her head no. She was almost positive she had told all she could. The last three hours had been spent here replaying her life like a movie made for tv. She just prayed Craig got what he deserved after all this.

"Well, all right, ma'am," Officer Reed said standing. "Now, do you think it would benefit us to talk to your daughter?"

Trinity did know about most of what had happened because she had been there for most of it. Would it benefit them? Maybe. It may end up hurting her though. Grace thought it over for moment before answering, "She knows about everything I just told you, but she doesn't cope as easily." Grace hoped that explained well enough.

Reed gave her an odd look. "What do you mean, ma'am?" he asked cautious.

Grace sighed. She didn't want to just come out and talk about Trinity's cutting issues. She found a way to get around it a bit. "Do you remember why she is in the hospital in the first place?" Grace asked in a whisper.

Slowly, recognition fell on Reeds face. He was about to apologize but Grace cut him off. "Don't aplolgize." She simply stated. "Just make sure that bastard of a husband of mine gets life for ruining mine and my daughters."

Grace felt impowered. She hadn't for so long. She wasn't really sure why she did now besides the bright side was coming through. It could all be over soon. Her life could be given back to her. Sure all the years she lost and fun could never be returned but this was something.

For the life of her she couldn't remember why she had lived in Hell for so long until she looked down at her arms covered in bruises. She had lived in Hell so Trinity wouldn't have to.

Sadly she had either way.

*Trinity/Harry*

"You think I'm perfect?" Trinity questioned. She wanted a straight up answer from Harry not just these poetry, gooey things he gave her. They were beautiful and maybe heart felt but she wanted blunt and powerful.

"To me yes." He smiled at her full blown and she couldn't understand why. What he had just said made her feel awful.

      "To you?" she questioned.

It was then he caught on. "Yes to me!" he started. "Not everyone is going to see you the way I see you but, God and I, we see you in the right light because we love you."

Trinity flipped a 180 in her stomach and heart right then. "Wait what?" She really was confused. Did he mean that he saw her true beauty? The beauty that God had seen and made? But more importantly.... Had he just said he loved her?

        Calm yourself  she thought
There are many types of love

But deep inside Trinity hoped it was the kind of love she was thinking off.

"I said I love you..." he started and Trinity's heart picked up, "as God loves you." He finished and Trinity felt stupid.

Of course he did not love her that way. All the flirting that had been going on was just because he was a big flirt she told herself. All the signs you've seen weren't there. Your heart is wrong.
