*Grace*

Craig's call had scared the hell out of her. She wasn't afraid to admit that. As the call ended, she heard Dr. Tedder's voice on the other side of Trinity's door. She wanted to know what he was saying to her daughter.

She wanted to be there for Trinity like she never had before.

But the old Grace was climbing up from the place she had be shoved just the day before. Grace began to see her daughter hurt again but worse this time in a hospital bed. She saw Trinity covered in blood.

She wouldn't let this happen. If Craig got out or he sent someone after her she had to be as far away from Trinity as possible. And so, without another thought, or a goodbye, Grace walked off leaving Trinity parentless.

You can see her decision in a couple ways I suppose. She walked away to protect her daughter yes...

But also to protect herself.

She walked away so no one would come near Trinity...

But who's to say they wouldn't check there first anyway.

She may have thought she was helping but in a way she had endangered everyone more.

*Craig*

By mid afternoon, the entire city had heard of Craig's arrest. Even his friends. The ones he needed help from. The ones who weren't afraid to kill a woman.

Or a child...

You were only allowed one phone call out but Craig was allowed to have calls come through. This call that came through was from one of Craig's best buddies Tom.

Not much can be said about Tom. Not because he is quite or anything but because there are no positives about him. He is pure evil.

"Hello?" Craig spoke into the phone, the officers near by watching him like a hawk.

On the other end Tom's voice was a whisper. "Old lady forget what we've taught her through the years?"          "Yes," Craig plainly stated.

"Need me to do something about it?"

"Yes," he answered again. Craig was thankful Tom had made it easy on him. Simple yes and no answers. This is why they were goodfriends.

Tom was off the phone now, without a goodbye, so Craig hung it up. The officer looked at him and helped him back to his cell. Once inside Craig just sat and smile at how things were about to go down. At how the field was going to be level again.

Craig was a messed up person .... Deeper than anyone would ever know.....

*Harry and Trinity*

Just a few short hours after Dr. Tedder had came in, Trinity was back in the comfort of her own room. She had never been happier to see the mustard yellow carpet and white walls. She slipped under the sheets of her bed and felt a body lay next to her.

Well this is better than before she thought.

She had never felt so warm and comfy as she did with Harry cuddling her like this. She didn't know when they had reached this level in their relationship but she wanted it to be kept this way for a long time.

Now while Trinity was oh so happy to be home Harry couldn't calm his thoughts. He remembered the last time he had been there. Just two nights ago.

He had let himself in with the spare key and ran to her room as fast as he could ready to see her but when he opened the door... The horror. Even now he could imagine her in that puddle of blood on the floor. How Grace had gotten it cleaned up was a mystery to him.

Harry held her close, afraid that if he let go she might break. It sounded crazy but he had come to learn just how fragile she was. He didn't want anything to make her sad again. He placed a kiss on her shoulder.

Trinity felt the brush of his lips on her skin and held back a sigh. She wondered what had happened at the hospital. Her mother had left without a word. She wondered when shed be home. She hated silence it made her think.

Slowly Trinity turned to Harry. "Hey do you mind if I turn on the tv?" she asked. Her little corner stand tv hadn't been used in months but she was too lazy to go downstairs and she just wanted it as background sound anyway.

He shrugged, smiling smally. "It's your house."

She smiled back and grabbed the remote. When the tv flickered on a breaking news report was on. With shock she realized that was her father's mugshot. Of course she knew all of this was going on... but it hadn't seemed real.

Then she tensed in Harry's arms and he sensed it. "Oh no what's wrong?" he asked. Was it all ready happening? Was she going to be okay? He rubbed cirlces of comfort on her back. "Are you okay?"

"I--Im fine." she managed. "It is just... What if this has to do with why my mom left so suddenly? What if she isn't okay?"
