*Harry & Trinity*

Sadly, the next few days flew by in a haze for the two, and now Harry was an hour away from going back. An hour away from leaving her. No one had come back for her in the past days and as soon as he was gone she would truly be alone.

She sat in the middle of her bed as he packed the few shirts and pants he had brought with him. He caught her eyes on him. And he leaned in and kissed her softly. He liked having the power to do that now. Whenever or wherever he wanted he could kiss her and she would kiss back because she could and she wanted to.

He didn't know what his kiss did for her. It was healing her wounds. Slowly, but it was. Neither had talked really about what that first kiss had meant or even the ones they shared now. But maybe that was the thing... It felt so natural to both of them did they really need to discuss it? It was love and that is all that really mattered.

The clock showed he needed to leave or he would miss his flight. She walked him to the door. For the last time he asked her to come with him. He didn't like the thought of her being alone. He was sure that something could be arranged.

She shook her head no in refusal for both of them knew she couldn't go with him. She wasn't part of that world... But he wanted her to be. He truly did.

That wasn't how it was though, and so she hugged him one last time and felt his lips on hers firmly. Then he walked out, and as soon as the door was shut, and she made sure it was locked, she began to cry.

*Grace*

She had drove for days and she still wasn't sure where she was. A small town with a name, but she really didn't care what it was. She only needed to stay here awhile. All the locals were friendly. They tried to make friends with her, but she didn't have time for that. It wasn't safe for them anyway.

She had been staying at the only small hotel in town for the past couple days and she was there now. She knew today was the day Harry would leave. Hopefully, Trinity had taken it okay. Maybe she should call her. Especially considering the girls health.

She just hoped it wasn't too dangerous.

This may seem all out of line and crazy but what you don't know is what Craig was really capable of... He had a past. A past in a biker gang. Friends into drugs and killing.

She decided she HAD to call. She was sure Trinity was okay but the small piece of mother in her had to know for sure.....

*Trinity*

She had been sitting on the floor by the door for forever, but in reality just a few hours. In this time Trinity had thought about a way to end her tears. Yes, she had thought about it but... Then she remembered Harry's lips on hers and she felt just fine.

This memory was like a switch for her brain that made her feel happy and alive. The fact that he wanted his lips on hers. The feel of his curls in her hands. She missed him but she could wait.

There was a knock on the front door then and for a moment her mind wanted to play a trick on her. It wanted her to believe he had come back for her... But he wouldn't and she didn't want him to. She was so happy for him.

Again there was a knock. "Just a moment!" she called straightening her body to stand.

Slowly she opened the door to a man she had never seen before. "Can I help you?" she asked.

And then he pulled a gun on her. He backed her into her house shut the door and held a gun to her head. "Listen here you little bitch!" he yelled and Trinity trembled. "Where is your lying skank of a mother!?"

Oh god was Trinity's only thought. They were after her mother. All her fears had been right. That is where she was....

But who was this man? And why had Grace just left her? Trinity felt betrayed. Looking into the man's eyes she was sure she was going to die.

"I-I don't know..." Trinity started telling the truth.

And then he kicked her in the gut and she was on the floor. "Don't lie to me!" He screamed. "I'm not afraid to kill you!"

Trinity held her stomach, thinking frantically. Just tell him a lie

And so she did. "She went south!" Escaped her lips. "That is all I know!"

"Good little whore," he said rubbing her thigh now. "You best be telling me the truth or I will kill you." he finished squeezing her thigh.

And then he just opened the door and left. Like nothing had happened....

There was only two things Trinity was sure of....

She hoped she had sent him in the opposite direction of her mother...

And she was hurt and had never felt as dirty as she did right then.....
