Luke's POV
Luna sat across from me, floating above the floor, with her legs crossed. We've been sitting in my room for about four hours now, talking about what's been going on in the present. Luna was mesmerized by all the changes and technological advances that have been made in the world since she passed.
"I'd love to see it, all of it. When I was a kid, we were so poor, and things were so different then...I never had the chance to travel." She said. I looked up at her, then back to the Ouija Board laying  on my desk. As long as the spiritual "door" was still open, and connected to the board, Luna could travel. Wherever the board went, Luna could follow. I can't let her know about it, though. Keeping the door open only increases the risk of letting evil, non human spirits out. I can't take that risk, but it's only a matter of time before Luna pieces together how she was able to get from the hospital to me.
"I think it's time we get you back." I said, staring down at my feet.
"Back? I don't want to go back." Her voice shook.
"For the time being, Luna, it's where you belong."
"The time being?"
"Yes. Until I figure out how to help you move on, go in the light so to speak, the hospital is where you belong."
She stood up, and walked over to my window, her back towards me. Her shoulders slumped, as well as her head.
"I've been stuck there for so long, do you know how amazing it feels to be out? I feel free, Luke. Maybe I can finally go out, see the town, see the world-"
"No, Luna. We need to get you back. Ashton is probably worried about you."
"Are you trying to get rid of me, Luke?" She turned to me, with sad eyes.
"Luna, it's not like that."
"Then what is it? Why can't I stay? It's a miracle that I was able to travel to you, I don't know how that is possible, but it happened, and now you want to make me go back to place I've been imprisoned for years?" Her tone grew angrier, and I immediately felt weaker. The board began to shake a little. I sat down on the bed, and closed my eyes, trying to stop the dizziness.
"Luna, please...you're using my energy."
She unclenched her fists, suddenly returning my strength.
"I...I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me, I-" She closed her eyes, and disappeared.
"Luna?"

Luna's POV
I opened my eyes, suddenly back at the hospital.
"Luna?" I turned around frantically, Ashton appeared beside me.
"Ashton, the craziest thing happened! You won't believe-"
"You came back," he hugged me, so tightly, that if I could breathe, it'd make me stop. Something about him felt different, his aura felt sad, and dark.
"Are you okay, Ash?"
"I'm fine...where were you?"
"That's the crazy thing, Ashton. I was able to leave. I was with Luke."
Suddenly, Ashton pushed away from me, making me stumble backwards. His eyes turned a faint black, and his voice was more of a growl.
"Ashton?-"
"You left? You can't leave here. We told you the gifted breather is dangerous, Luna. He's going to destroy our souls."
"We? Ashton, have has the thing in the basement been talking to you again?" I said, terrified.
"It told me what Luke would do to us, Luna. If we don't get rid of him, he'll get rid of us. This 'help' this 'other world of light' doesn't exist for spirits like us, not after what we did. He'll send us to a place where we will suffer in torment, forever because it's what we deserve."
I backed away from him, my back against the wall, as he disappeared, and reappeared right in front of me. He gripped onto my arms, tightly.
"Ashton, stop! You're hurting me." I stared into his eyes, black, now realizing they weren't his anymore.
"Ashton! Come back to me, please. Come back! Fight it." I yelled, and started to cry. "Please..."
His grip on me loosened, and his eyes turned back to their normal soft hazel. He looked around frantically, as if not knowing where he was.
"Luna? What happened? You're back?" I hugged him tightly, and kissed his cheek.
"That thing, it has to be that thing. I need to get you away from here."
"Luna, what are you talking about? We can't possibly leave, you know that."
I took his hand, and closed my eyes. Maybe if I think of Luke again, while holding Ashton's hand, we'll be able to leave.
"Close your eyes."
"Why? Luna, you're not-"
"Just do it!"
He shut his eyes, and I shut mine again, focusing on Luke. Luke. Those bright blue eyes, soft blond hair. Luke...
Everything was quiet for a moment. I felt completely numb, it's as if I was dying all over again. The only thing I could feel was Ashton's hand in mine. I opened my eyes, and discovered we were in Luke's room again. Luke jumped off his bed, startled. Ashton's eyes flung open, and he looked around in shock.
"It worked." I said excitedly.
"What worked? What did you do?" Ashton said.
"Luna, you used the door again, and you were able to bring Ashton?"
"What door?" Ashton said.
"The Ouija board door. Luke and his friends opened it, and didn't...close it."
"Is...that even possible?"
"Obviously." Luke smirked. Ashton glared at him, and shook his head.
"We shouldn't be here, Luna, this isn't good. He's dangerous."
"I'm dangerous? Ashton, you tried to kill me!"
"Luke that wasn't him, it was the thing, in the basement. That's why we came. I needed to get him away from there."
Ashton paced around, floating higher and higher with every step, as if climbing an invisible staircase.
"It took control of you, Ashton. It's like you were possessed."
