ramona placed the pen down and compiled the envelope she had in front of her, with the other four that she had put aside earlier on. nick's name was written on the envelope in ramona's messy scrawl and she knew that she didn't actually need an official invitation to give him since darcy and nick was the ones who planned most of the wedding, the engagement party, and any other party to come because ramona and henry couldn't plan any event even if their life depended on it—but handing an official invitation to nick was the right thing to do.
the other four envelopes had the names of connor march, matthew orion, oliver reyes and theodore lee.
ramona grabbed her bag from the carpet next to a leg of the chair and placed it on her crossed legs before tucking the envelopes in to give to darcy the next day. darcy had expressed her worry that ramona would either lose them, mail them incorrectly, or forget to do it anyway and so she said she would mail them herself. ramona loved her best friend a little bit more than she already did.
