Luke’s POV
I was on my way to the airport to pick up Lexi and my other baby girls. I couldn’t contain my excitement, I had the windows down, music pumped up and was singing along to Timber at the top of my lungs. I had planned for almost ALL of our Melbourne fans to turn up today and surprise Lexi, although I had to block her on twitter so she couldn’t see what I had planned and I had hoped that no one had tweeted about it that she could have seen.
I parked the car and began walking towards the airport doors. I walked in and screams filled the room and hundreds of screaming girls came running towards me. I laughed and held my hands up telling them to stop, along with the help of airport security. We ended up getting them all organised and calm and standing nearby the luggage pick up area, at the bottom of the escalator,while I went up to where her flight comes off. I watched it drive into the area and stop. Soon people began walking off and I started nervously playing with my lip rings and had my hands in my pockets. All of a sudden I saw her beautiful face and wow she had got so much bigger, our babies had grown. She looked absolutely glowing, I was so proud to call her my fiancé. We walked towards each other and I wrapped my arms around her waist, while I planted her lips with a passionate kiss. Our lips moved in sync as our tongues danced together. I pulled back, holding her hands and looked into her beautiful blue eyes. “I have missed you so much” I told her as my eyes started to tear up. “Me too baby, me too.” she admitted, pecking my lips softly. “I love you” I smiled at her. “I love you too” she smiled back. “Oh, this is Gretal and John.” Lexi said introducing me to two old people. “I met them on the plane, this is Luke.” She told them as they shook my hand and the lady said “Oh it’s so nice to meet you. You are a lucky man young lad” she smiled at me, “Your fiancé is just wonderful. It was so nice to meet you, but we must be leaving now. Goodbye” they said as they gave us each a hug and walked away. “Nice friends you met” I winked at Lexi, laughing, as she punched my arm playfully and we held hands as we began walking towards the escalator. “Did the boys miss me?” she asked me. “You kidding? They’re going insane without you, they even made up a song and dance about how much they missed you” I laughed. Just then Lexi spotted the large crowd of fans at the bottom of the escalator and at once they all screamed “WELCOME HOME LEXI!!!! WOOOOO” as they all cheered. Lexi looked at me and said “I love you. Thankyou” as we continued travelling down the escalator.
Lexi’s POV
We got to the bottom and I was crowded by screaming, excited fans. They were all trying to get photos with us and hug us and we were stuck right in the middle. I mean, I loved these girls from the bottom of my heart, but this was too much. I began having an anxiety attack and got really dizzy. I needed to get out of there, before I fainted. Tears began rolling down my face and in a few seconds things went from amazing to terrible. It was like a nightmare. Luke noticed that I was freaking out and crying and he screamed at the top of his lungs over everyone else “Everyone, make way NOW!!! She is pregnant and she is about to faint, please MOVE NOW!!! GET OUT OF THE FUCKING WAY SERIOUSLY!!!”. Nothing was happening, so security began pulling people out of the way and pulling us out of there.
Luke’s POV
We finally got out and I sat on a seat with Lexi and I tried to calm her down. “Hey, hey” I spoke as I lifted up her chin and looked her in the eyes, wiping away the tears from her stained cheeks. “We’re out now, it’d alright baby! I know it was scary, but it’s over, it’s alright. I’m here. Lukey’s here” I smiled at her. I managed to get a slight smile out of her and I pulled her in for a tight hug. I kissed her gently on the lips and helped her up off the seat. “And you are looking beautiful. Only 10 weeks left now, yeah? We have some setting up to do at home.” I said, trying to get her mind off what had just happened. Security led us out to my car and we were soon on the road. “Hey Lex, can you please tweet just making sure none of the fans got hurt, and that we were sorry that we couldn’t meet them and stuff?”I asked Lexi. “Okay, I’m a bit embarrassed that I cried in front of them.. and you, but it was scary.” She said to me. “Babe I’m sure they’ll understand. And why were you embarrassed in front of me? It’s just me” I laughed. “You know I will always be there for you.” I cheekily smiled at her.
We soon pulled up in the driveway and went inside, telling mum, Beau and Jai what had happened, they were shocked and kept making sure we were alright. They also gave Lexi big hugs and told her how much they missed her. Beau and Jai also performed their song and dance they had made up, which was hilarious, I was pissing myself laughing and filming the whole thing. We were all in the lounge room except mum who was in her room, just chilling on our phones and laptops. Lexi screamed “Omg!!”. “What? What?” we all asked her, making sure she was alright. Now there was only 10 weeks left, and we were all freaking out that something was going to go wrong. “I’m fine, just I got an email back from this girl. About a month ago, I saw this job offer thing, for a girl wanting to form a girl band and wanted to find members and I sent her a video of me singing and she just replied.” She told us. “What did she say? You never told me you could sing!” I said to her. “You never asked” she winked at me. “She said she has found three other girls aswell and we are all meeting up tomorrow and meet each other and have a practice/trial thing.” She smiled. “Oh my god, that’s mad!” I told her, “Do they know that you’re pregnant though..?” I asked. “Yes, Luke!! I made sure I told her that.” ”So what made you want to join?” Beau asked Lexi. “Well you guys actually. You inspired me to follow my dreams.” She told us. “Aww” we all said, “That means so much to us.” Jai smiled at Lexi.
“So you’ll probably need to practice before tomorrow hey?!” I said cheekily. “You might have to have a practice right now… In front of us.” I winked at her. “Omg fine, but I’m nervous.. what do you want me to sing?” she asked us. “Stay the night by Hayley Williams and Zedd” I told her. “Alright….” She said as she prepared herself nervously. Then something amazing happened… she belted out the song, better than Hayley Williams. It was utterly amazing. By the time she finished, us three and mum, who had heard from her bedroom and come out and filmed it, as well as me, all had our mouth open in shock. We all gave her a round of applause and explained how we couldn’t believe she was this good and hadn’t become famous yet, or auditioned for anything before now.
That night, Lexi and I made a video about life and the babies for our youtube channel. She sat next to me until 3am while I was editing. We finally went to bed and fell asleep, her in my arms.
