Luke’s POV
I handed Lexi her first christmas present from me and got my phone to take a video for keek. She opened the wrapping to reveal the blue velvet box. She smiled as she opened it and her eyes glowed as she turned to me and said “Luke, this is amazing. I love it. Thankyou so much!!” but I told her to open the necklace locket up and on one side it had a photo of us that we took just after we first met. On the other side was a small photo of the ultrasound of our baby girls. A tear rolled down her face as she jumped on me and hugged me right before planting my lips with a passionate kiss. “Turn it over” I told her as she did she saw the engraving “Forever Family”. “Luke, you are amazing, how did you even think of this? I love it so much, can you please put it on?” she asked me. “Of course” I said as she handed me the necklace and I opened it up, placing it around her neck and did it up. I kissed her on the shoulder and wrapped my arms around her large pregnant belly “I love you” I told her.
Later on, we all got ready and climbed in the car to drive over to nonna and nonno’s. Jai had recently got his L’s so he was driving with mum in the front. He was nervous and went so slow, with the occasional slam on the break or accelerator. We all held on to each other in the back seat, in sacredness. We soon got there and I held Lexi’s hand, walking her inside to see the family. They all greeted us with hugs and kisses and “Merry Christmas” greetings. I legit loved my family so much, they were the most important thing in my life, next to our fans. My family included Lexi of course and our baby girls.
After our huge italian Christmas lunch that nonna home cooked, it was time to exchange presents. Lexi and I got lots of joint presents for the babies and a few separate ones for ourselves. I handed Lexi a little present that I had got a while ago for the babies. It was two little janoskians onesies and beanies, they were white with “Janoskians” written in black. The girls were going to look even cuter in them.
Later on, we said goodbye to everyone at about 5pm and made our way back home. We each looked through our presents and opened the packaging of them all. We also all opened our chocolate stockings and managed to scoff it down within the time we watched National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. “My feet are killing me, my back is sore and I am so tired” Lexi said. We put on one more movie “Deck the halls” before we went to bed, as we all layed in the loungeroom together as a family. Lexi sat between my legs, in front of me on the couch and I gave her a gentle back massage. “I wouldn’t mind one of those” mum said and I laughed. Jai got up and gave her a massage which was pretty funny to watch, especially when he did it too hard and mum yelled at him.
Lexi’s POV
I must have fell asleep watching the movie last night, I don’t remember going into bed, so Luke must’ve carried me in. He is extremely strong, hence why he could carry a fat pregnant lady. I woke up in a pretty foul mood I must admit… and for no reason except for hormones. Luke had already been up and gone to gym and was in the shower. I noticed his clothes were strewn all over the floor and his clothes were pulled out of the cupboard on the floor aswell, sometimes he was such a messy pig and then other times he has cleaning OCD, I just didn’t understand. I stormed into the bathroom and opened the shower door, where Luke was “Luke clean up your fucking mess. You know I can’t stand it being that messy. What made you feel the need to put your clothes all over the room? Fucking hell.We’re about to have fucking twins and you can’t even manage to keep our room clean.” He just stood there, staring at me, shocked at my foul mood. “Okay I will!!” he yelled back, “Just wait until I’m out of the fucking shower.” He continued. I slammed the door and stormed out to the kitchen to make myself a warm milo. I didn’t drink tea, I hated it and I would only occasionally have coffee, but not while I’m pregnant just to be safe.
“What’s wrong honey?” Gina asked me. “I’m sorry I know I’m in a mood, but Luke decided to chuck his clothes all over the floor and not clean them up. Argh he frustrates me sometimes. I love him, but OMG he makes me angry.” I told her. “Honey, look I know how bad the hormones and mood swings are, ive had it twice, once with twins like you. I know you can’t control them, the feeling is terrible, expecially when you know you’re taking it out on the people you love. It’s alright to take it out on Luke he doesn’t mind, he understands. But just promise me one thing, don’t bring up the ‘How are you supposed to look after babies if you can’t even do this’ situation, he’s already nervous enough about becoming a daddy, just support each other okay babe” she kissed me on the head and hugged me. I understood completely, I now felt terribile I had to make it up to Luke.
