Hey guys, it's Candy and Rissa. We wanted to talk to you about something we felt was really important. For starters, simply because we are human, most girls are never satisfied with their bodies. Some short girls want to be tall, and some tall girls want to be short. Some skinny girls want to be thicker, and some thicker girls want to be skinnier. So, what we are here to tell you is appreciate the body shape you have. While you're looking at someone else's body, saying you wish you could look like that, someone else is saying the same thing about you. In the teenage group , it's definitely understandable to struggle with body positivity-- that's where we feel the need to fit in. However, don't forget that people can only love you if you love yourself first. Sometimes you just need to look yourself in the mirror and point out perks about your body shape instead of always pointing out what you think is wrong with it.

But this is not always easy. Everyone has a thing they dislike about themselves. After all, it is easier for us to point out our flaws faster than our good traits. And often, we hear other people say 'oh, I love this or that about you' and we say thanks, but still don't feel good about ourselves. But do you know that one simple step to get you out of this negative pit? Self-acceptance. No matter who you are or what you look like, EVERYONE has, at the very least, one positive trait about them. Additionally, never forget this--'Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.' What are ugly brown eyes to you could remind someone else of sweet chocolate. The hair that you think is ugly someone else might kill to have. Plus, no matter who you are, you are amazing to us.

If you still struggle with self acceptance, you can message either of us, and you have this amazing magazine. NOW STAY AMAZING, BECAUSE YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL.
