Sorry about the delay with this, I've been dealing with a lot lately

I woke up, feeling like shit. I sat up, running my hand through my hair. Leilani woke up, looking at me. She'd started sleeping here ever since that day we'd................. Anyway, she could see something wasn't right, and grabbed my hand.

"What's wrong Serena?"

I shrugged, looking at her.

*I just feel like crap."

"Well, you lie back down, I'll go get your medication and get you something to eat."

I smiled, as she started fussing.

"Lei-"

"Lie. Down."

I sighed, and told her I at least wanted to get changed. Even when I'm sick, I hate laying around in my pyjama's. She shook her head and gave me five minutes to get everything done. I got up and got changed, before sitting back down.

She came back up with one of my injections, telling me to lift my shirt. I just looked at her, holding my hand out for the injection. But, she shook her head. I just lifted my shirt and she gave me the shot. She got something for me to eat, and made sure I finished it.

She told me to lie down, and she lay next to me. I cuddled into her, and remembered she could get sick to.

"Hey, you could get sick to."

"I never get sick. Ever. Just relax and you can have the cuddles you want."

I cuddled into her, wrapping my arms around her. She pulled me closer, kissing the top of my head. I kissed her shoulder, and she laughed. I looked up at her, and she was smiling.

"What's so funny?"

She leaned down and kissed me. I tried to pull away, but she wouldn't have any of that. She kissed me, and I lay my head back down on her chest, listening to her heartbeat.

"A few weeks ago, you were convinced I wouldn't want to be with you because you're different. But, look at you now, cuddled up to me. I don't care about anything other than making sure you get better, and you can have all the cuddles you want."

I got a little upset, listening to that.

When I'm sick, I tend to get emotional, hearing that when I'm not feeling great.............. Well, it made everything kinda spill over and I started crying.

"Ssh flower. It's alright."

She sat up, pulling me onto her lap. I always get like this when I'm not well. The smallest thing sets me off.

"Talk to me flower, what is it?"

I shook my head, and managed to speak eventually.

"I just............... I'm just so lucky you're here. And when you said that............"

I trailed off, and buried my face in her neck sobbing.

Leilani took a deep breath and the next thing I know, she's singing.
